Delightful action movie with a Christian moral. Wonderful and rare combination. I very much enjoyed it. Yes, it did not have the budget of a big name movie, but with a little creative imagination on the part of the viewer, none of it will be missed. Not a bad movie but not a great movie just sort of average... acting and story line a bit over done to the point of NOT so believable. Maybe they should look a bit rumpled and or a bit wrinkled and maybe not so pristine clean that it looked like the costumes were kind of fake....… Expand

This was just ok. The acting was slightly below average. I don't like many Christian films but i do have to say this is was one of the better ones. That is not saying much though. You see it was almost like this movies story was a good idea. Yet it was just executed poorly. It's about a manThis was just ok. The acting was slightly below average. Yet it was just executed poorly. It's about a man who decides to become a zorrow like figure after discovering an conspiracy plot in the east India trading company. The person playing William Reynolds was the films only good actor other than the actor playing Charlotte holloway. The rest of the cast was as i noted before slightly below average. I know it's low budget but at least they could have tried to make it a bit more exciting and better plotted and also acted. Anyway if you like low budget movies christian films with action you would probably enjoy this but for the movie lover i would say stay away.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's been so long since I (tried to) watched a genuinely bad film. Not bad like 'Army of the dead' is bad, where camerawork, acting, budget, CGI, villains and costumes seem award-worthy by comparison, but like, seriously bad. I watched about 20 minutes or some such, up until when he tries to have a sermon and people stand up, when they should be sitting down. Yes, that was written in the script under 'that'll be funny, right?'. I have no idea who the writers or director for this movie were, because ... I mean, were they awake? Are they small children? Did someone pitch: Let's find a guy who looks like Mal Reynolds, we'll dress him as mal Reynolds but call him Will Reynolds, so it's not too obvious, and he'll take on EITC, which everyone knows is evil from Pirates of the Carribean. He'll be like a murderer, but a good guy. Let's just not make him speak too much, because cringe. The main female is cookie-cutter cute in a costume nobody could ever place in any human period and there's John Rhys Davies, but other than that, from the cartoonish set-up (and not even all the way, like some steampunk extravaganza you might expect from S. Holmes movies), to the cloned coloured sidekick, it's bad. Boring bad. I tried, I really tried. It was on netflix, we all love netflix, right? Sigh. Yikes.… Expand
