Man it is hard to choose between this and Endgame. What makes them both spectacular is this film is the equivalent of Deathly Hallows P2, the action never stops and it lacks a bit in Endgame but that's all about the genius plan of getting theMan it is hard to choose between this and Endgame. I'd say at the time of writing this review, I'd say Infinity War just because I've seen it less recently. That is surprising indeed. This film is when every MCU character group comes together, in their own ways finding out that the greatest threat to the Universe is coming, some actually meeting others, say Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers!! Might not seem that exciting but I like it. And welp, there really isn't much to mention aside from many characters teaming up, getting themselves in epic fight scenes, those likeable serious discussions about sacrifice, all to stop the Mad Titan Thanos at gaining all six Infinity Stones.… Expand

The epic culmination of all the Marvel superhero stuff that came out in the last 10 years. The pressure was enormous, that this film had to embrace and worthily say "goodbye" to all the matter that has been parked so far. If we compare this movie to other MCU movies then we'll understand that this movie is not a typical Superhero movie. We can consider this movie like Civil War, Black Panther, Watchmen etc. Something more than a superhero movie. We can consider this movie like Civil War, Black Panther, Watchmen etc. Something more than a superhero movie. If we think deeply then Thanos was right. Many people are arguing that Thanos should have doubled the resources or could have made infinite resources. But its not correct because if he doubled the resources then everyone in the universe will finish them again and if we made resources infinite then the resources will not have any kind of value. For example, if diamonds were found everywhere on Earth like normal rocks then it wouldn't had any value to buy it by spending millions of dollars and we would have considered diamonds as normal rocks. The way the population is increasing we have to leave The Earth one day because the resources on Earth are coming to an end. Then from which angle we can say that Thanos was wrong? But it is very philosophical. If I review this as a normal audience then it is almost a masterpiece. Brilliant action scenes with brilliant story-line. Iron Man's humorous dialogues like "Wong you're invited to my wedding" and " I'm sorry Earth is closed today......" were as usual nice. I still complains that MCU showed Spider-Man as a side character who is only for humor. Cap's entry scene was the 2nd best entry scene of the film after Thor in Wakanda. And the battle of Wakanda is my favorite action scene after Titan battle between Dr.Strange/Guardians/Stark/Spidey Vs. The Mad Titan Thanos. And as always Peter Quill is Peter Quill. He should have asked Thanos that where was Gamora after they pulled off The Infinity Gauntlet and also it was the dumbness of Mantis who told the truth at that time. But Dr. Strange knew each and every of this. He intentionally gave Time Stone to Thanos and allowed 50% of the population to be erased including Avengers like Black Panther, Wanda, Guardians, Strange himself, Spider-Man, Winter-Soldier etc. Because he knew it was the one and only way to win which he saw from 14 Million possibilities. Yeah it gave us shock for an entire year because death of Avengers is not an easy thing to accept by us. Though I never liked the character of Vision, the way Joe and Anthony Russo showed his death was painful. For the case of Civil War Avengers had to disappear for 5 years because the directors themselves said that if Cap and Tony were together and the entire team were together then Thanos would have never won. But the best thing I liked about this movie is its dialogues starting from " Bring me Thanos" to " Reality is often disappointing" and my own favorite " Perfectly balanced as everything should be". The death of Asguardians starting from Hemdail to Loki was completely unexpected mainly the death of Loki.… Expand

Infinity War in my opinion lived up to the hype. This movie puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions of laughter and sadness. The whole has a weight that you can feel as you watch. Finds a way to give each character their moment except forInfinity War in my opinion lived up to the hype. This movie puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions of laughter and sadness. The whole has a weight that you can feel as you watch. Finds a way to give each character their moment except for steve Roger's which I think should have been more involved. But what really puts this one over the top is Thanos. Thanos has an extra purpose and a great back story stuff usual villains lack and has one of the strongest wills even killing her own daughter for his goal. Overall this movie really brings everything together in the MCU for an emotion-filled extravaganza.

As someone who grew up seeing the 1st and 2nd Tobey Spider-Man films in theaters as a fairly young kid and knowing even at that age what great films they were let alone great super hero movie, which obviously that landscape was very differentAs someone who grew up seeing the 1st and 2nd Tobey Spider-Man films in theaters as a fairly young kid and knowing even at that age what great films they were let alone great super hero movie, which obviously that landscape was very different back then compared to today, but to be able to see how they constructed this somewhat origin story for Tom Holland from all the way from Civil War to No Way Home and to throw in so many great moments along the way for people like me and others and to make so many amazing moments just work flawlessly especially the fan service moments. They were able to sneak in a surprising amount of explanations and maybe things that happened after certain stories ended or behind the scenes and for it to not fill contrived or shoehorned in there is just an accomplishment in of itself. Movies don't typically make those moments work and they tend to be weaker parts of the film which is why fanservice can be bad as well as good but in my opinion this is how you execute fanservice perfectly. It's hard for me sometimes to pick the perfect words especially when a movie does so many things right and I have very little to if nothing bad to say about it, which four people reading I definitely don't think I would ever call any movie 100% perfect but I'm not a movie critic so if I just flat-out love a movie it's usually hard for me to think back and pick out moment I didn't necessarily like or that I would change, especially when I'm loving so much of what I'm seeing. I personally think this is hands-down the best Spider-Man movie and without trying to seem like I'm biasly reviewing this movie too much I may even look back later and say it's the best superhero movie. It just works in all areas and isn't restrained as solely a superhero movie but they bring so much emotion and character and plot development for multiple people, which again can be very hard to execute, that I just consider this an absolutely amazing movie and I would forever look back on the three MCU Spider-Man movies as a perfect origin story for Tom Hollands Peter Parker and be so very pleased with what we got. It's just such a strong film it can stand on its own and isn't bunched into a great Marvel movie or great superhero movie or even great Spider-Man movie but just a absolutely fantastic movie overall. If anybody out there is on the fence about seeing it I would highly highly recommend not waiting for it to come out on Blu-ray or streaming and go support your local theater because this is definitely a movie will be enjoyed more with a group of people and as a fan base together. Even if your theater is empty just the big screen and everything you get with a theater experience makes something that's great even better. If I had to say one thing I would say that maybe people who haven't seen the other Spider-Man movies or even people who aren't familiar with the Tobey Maguire movies probably won't like this movie as much as the people who have followed all three Spider-Man's stories up to this point because a lot of the magic that made me fall in love with this movie is definitely and the Nostalgia and being able to see not only the Spider-Man's but these villains back on the big screen killing it like they do… Expand

I love this movie. I consider myself a big comic book marvel fan. My favorite films from the franchise so far, are Cap. American: Winter Soldier and Thor: Ragnarok. As this movie was directed by the same guys as Winter Soldier and Civil War, I went into this movie with sky-high expectations.

I am gonna keep this brief: Avengers: Infinity War blew me away! If I should mention just one thing that really amazed me was the character of Thanos. He is so well developed and makes for a super interesting and complex villain. As an audience, we are actually capable of sympathizing with a guy, who wants to kill off half of the universe. It's not about power or dominance. It's about preserving life in a Universe with finite resources - a goal with leads him (and the avengers) into several interesting moral dilemmas.

I agree with the other reviews here. This movie is such a beautiful calamity of 10 years of the best superhero entertainment there is. Thinking about it, I can't really grasp how the director pulled this off. So many well developed characters from different story lines are working together in a true cinematic symphony.

I give this movie my highest recommendations. It's a must-see for anyone with just a remote interest in the franchise.… Expand

Thanos is also without a doubt the best comic book villain since the Dark Knight's Joker bar none. He is complex, cunning, and monstrously ruthless. Whether it be on the planet Titan or in Wakanda, this movie definetly lived up to the hype. I was also so excited to see the guardians in this movie as well, as they have had nothing to do with the avengers or any other major marvel characters for that manner. To me, every single marvel movie with the exception of thor the dark world, the incredible hulk, and iron man 2 are just extremely entertaining and action packed. Even if avengers age of ultron had a few overstuffed moments, the rest of the movie was gold and was a great sequel. Iron Man 3 was also great, and, to be honest, the only reason why it wasn't regarded as one of the better marvel movies was because of the plot twist of the villain. Yes, they underused the main villain a bit, but it was still a great movie. And Iron Man 2 was a bit rushed, but it did not fail and does not deserve the heat that it gets. Mickey Rourke was great throughout, and one cant go wrong with Robert Downey Jr. It definitely wasn't as good as the first, but it was still an entertaining film. And for Thor the dark world, the scrip was a bit sloppy and Malekith wasn't used that great, but they used Jane Foster well and Loki was great and Thor provided great action throughout. The Incredible Hulk sucked. I agree with the haters for that one. But for Iron Man 2 and Thor the dark world, I believe that the first movie for each was well received and put too much hype on both the movies. So all in all, rock on Marvel!… Expand

Thanos is genuinely a revelation and thankfully not only feels completely real in the CGI sense but also capture every last detail of Brolin's performance. Thanos is genuinely a revelation and thankfully not only feels completely real in the CGI sense but also capture every last detail of Brolin's performance. I was completely engrossed for the entire movie. The Russo's wield their own Infinity Gauntlet over the Marvel Universe with absolute control. My only reservation is whether the consequences will stick in the next part; I hope they remain brave and leave some in place. Superb!… Expand

Absolute masterpiece. I watched it a few months ago with my friends, not having watched it when it released because we frankly didn't think the Avenger series wasn't that good because of all the fighting(over plot and character building) inAbsolute masterpiece. This movie, Avengers: Infinity War was perfect. It had lots of plot and character building, with just the right amount of battle, it wasn't overwhelming but it wasn't too little either. I really like how they didn't make Thanos, the main antagonist, all brawl with no brains or heart. They didn't make him the cliche antagonist I've seen many times. It was heartbreaking to see Thanos & Gamora's last moment together, because you can really see some humanity in Thanos. It's also really nice to see Dr Strange in action, with visible moral changes that changed him for the better. No character got too little limelight -- every character got their bit of the movie to shine/be highlighted, and I loved that! The ending was heartbreaking honestly, especially Spider-Man & Ironman's moment. Peter Parker was so young, barely 18 years old when he died.… Expand
