Un film intéressant, indéniablement intéressant sur les heures les plus sombres de l'Histoire avec un grand H en raison d'une obsession d'un homme (encore un H) dont le nom commençait par un H. Et d'ailleurs, certains de ses **** potes avaient aussi des noms qui commençaient par un H... avecUn film intéressant, indéniablement intéressant sur les heures les plus sombres de l'Histoire avec un grand H en raison d'une obsession d'un homme (encore un H) dont le nom commençait par un H. Et d'ailleurs, certains de ses **** potes avaient aussi des noms qui commençaient par un H... avec tous ces H, on pourrait faire un hymne, un hommage... quoique deux H ensemble, ça fait rapidement mauvais genre !

Mais avec encore un H, on pourrait tout aussi bien désigner un Héros avec un autre grand H, Héros à l'insu de son plein gré mais pas totalement : un SS qui défend les juifs !... à sa manière. Et qui a contribué à révéler la Vérité, celle avec un grand V, une Vérité qui résonnait alors comme une Victoire.

Les acteurs (la plupart allemands il me semble) sont remarquables en tout point et littéralement habités par leur rôle ; Costa-Gavras signe une mise en scène rigoureuse mais aussi un film globalement d'une belle neutralité à tous les égards... égratignant quand il le faut, dénonçant de temps en temps mais faisant aussi la part des choses sans aucun manichéisme malvenu. Un état des lieux très édifiant reflétant bien la complexité de l'époque en somme.

Malheureusement, le petit acteur français qui se prend pour Jésus (oui, Kassovitz) s'avère assez ridicule (Duchaussoy est très bien par contre, l'honneur est sauf...) et les atermoiements souvent répétitifs du scénario n'en finissent pas : le film rame terriblement, surtout dans sa seconde partie... Trop de blabla et de lenteurs sur des enjeux qu'on a compris depuis longtemps déjà ! mais Costa craignait sans doute qu'on ne comprenne pas assez... et se perd alors en digressions démonstratives et inutiles...

Dommage, car la neutralité et la dignité cohabitent avec harmonie ici, sans guimauve grotesque (à la Spielberg).… Expand
