Agree with the critics: Two people finally tell each other the truth. This is, of course, an astonishing breakthrough in movies about teenagers, and All the Right Moves deserves it.

Cruise is good here with not much to work with, the one football game is played and shot really well comparatively to other sports films. Falls flat on its face in the final 10 minutes as it pulls all of its punches for a cheap, cheesy ending.
