The most disconcerting thing about A Walk in the Clouds' tendency towards overt melodrama is that almost all of it is totally unnecessary. Minor script changes could have eliminated huge chunks of this, leaving behind an uplifting love story. Even as it is, however, there's still something special about the motion picture. This is a nice romance film. Its quite sentimental and sappy and so in that respect it may well put people off but its an easy and light watch and I enjoyed the local music played and the cinematography. Some of the dialogue is quite nice but I wouldn't say its a particularly spectacularThis is a nice romance film. In general terms I think the film had a depressing, overwhelming side, as if it were sad.
