Jul 28, 2014Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is a great skateboarding game for the Xbox. The graphics are bad, and the characters look downright disturbing because of this, but that's the glory of the Xbox. It has some of the best games ever released on it, and focused on gameplay over graphics. One of the best Xbox games of 2001/2002, great work, activision!

FatboyOct 21, 2005Greatest game ever... I have roughly two faults in the design of this game and the rest is unbelievably perfect. With the ability to create parks the fun never ends.

UterJun 1, 2004I'd rate this as one of the best games ever. Being a port doesn't make it any less awesome. I'd take this over Tony Hawk Underground without hesitation.

RazD.Dec 8, 2007The perfect skating simulation: simple, expansive, deep, and exaggerated, what all skating games should be.

ValG.Jun 1, 2002Yes game were fun at first but the people laugh at me when I crash make me crazy I want them stop laugh. I find secret tape but no secret on it and when I grind on the rail I fall off. Game should be made less easy for people like me.

RileyF.Dec 25, 2005A very good game, improved slightly over THPS 2. The game gets very addictive but after you beat the game about 11 times it starts to get really boring. Mulitplayer is fun though and there a tonne more options when making your own character. Great game.

Xbox Nation MagazineThe Xbox version is noticeably sharper than either the PS2 or GameCube iterations, and full-screen anti-aliasing makes the whole thing look smooth like butter. [Spring 2002, p.78]
-
The Hawk series soars to its highest echelon in its Xbox incarnation by besting the other earlier releases on the PS2 and GameCube, especially in the graphics department and giving meaning to the old saying "saving the best for last."
-
Game InformerBy playing career mode, players can unlock a new level, which is amazing in multiplayer, and one of the most diverse environments in the game. [Apr 2002, p.83]
