RufiusMay 12, 2005Having come to rely on Metacritic for sound advice i thought it about time to comment. This game is very good looking, I could fly around for hours picking fights, it is a good game that pehaps lacks a little heart but is made up for by the graphics and general humour...

DavO.Apr 25, 2005Imagine if in a game they said 'hey get lost' but they meant it and then you were lost and you didn't know where you were and then you died. This is THAT GAME. Buy if you like sound of it.

JohnR.Apr 27, 2005Great game, though at times a bit repetitive.

Jul 26, 2017The on foot game seems pointless and a waste of time. The ship-piloting portions are much more entertaining. The world looks great, and the characters are entertaining

games(TM)A good-looking game that offers inoffensive, simple gameplay that's likely to suit the tastes of most gamers. Due to knowing exactly what you're meant to be doing at all times, it loses the complete immersion that games like "Beyond Good & Evil" and a few others in the genre have managed to accomplish, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. Cheat Code CentralScrapland has virtually everything that you could wish for in a game although a little more gameplay variety would be welcome. It's loaded with humor, action, great graphics, interesting characters and a kicking soundtrack.

I would have liked to have seen more variety and lateral flexibility in the single-player... Overall, the game's refreshing sense of personality wins out over everything else.
