I've never NOT wanted to play a game before. But after I rented this one, I played it once, and have no desire to put it in my xbox again. My 7 year old son, who loves racing games, agrees.

"Race for Impact"? The only impact this horrific game should be involved with is a severe beating inflicted upon its programmers for dumping such incredible garbage upon us. I tried very hard to find a single positive to keep this game from a zero, but sadly, I couldn't.

I totally disagree with these reviews. This game is not just for kids and it is a lot of fun for 4 people. I just wish there were people online playing. Get four people and give it a try, I found the game for $10 and I like it. Expand

Given the uninspired play and mechanics, it might be more advisable to drive the cars right into the bowl and flush. [Oct 2004, p.98]
  2. Other than its support of Xbox Live, Room Zoom is nothing more than "MicroMachines" on the Xbox. It is still a fun game at times, but we’ve seen very similar titles on older systems like the PS1 and N64.

This is the kind of game that I would expect to be included in a cereal box. It's not very involved and virtually anyone can blast through it in a day or two.
