NickM.Jul 29, 2003Great game alot like last year but better. New animations are the bomb but a downer to the celebrations are the penalties. But i love the game and got it the day it come out. Now i waiting for the nfl version (madden) to come out. I give it a 10.

FirePantsJun 26, 2005Lots of fun. i like building crappy schools into powerhouses, but if your looking for gameplay, go buy Madden. I like the mag covers and the fact that i can save my prospects and draft them on madden.

AlexJul 15, 2003Live is important, yes, but the game is still one of the top SPORTS games out there, better than Madden.

SeanJul 15, 2003Just because they don't have Live doesn't mean it sucks. Lots of great games don't have Live like Halo, and Splinter Cell. This game also plays extremely well and with these significant upgrades the gane has gone to be the best college football game out there.

HughW.Jul 14, 2003No live = no pay. EA need to become Xbox Live friendly or loose all its sport title sales to Sega who are committed to Live.

MattR.Jul 15, 2003Terrific game. Better than the PS2 version (I'm not a fanboy, and I've played both extensively). The only downer is no online play, but that doesn't appeal to me anyways. Don't listen to fools who give a great game a 0 because it's not online compatible. Grade it for what it is, not what it isn't. Best NCAA FB game to date!

CoreyF.Jul 16, 2003I love the smooth play, and running game. It is by far the best buy out there for college football.

MarcusB.Jul 17, 2003Amazing. They improved on last year's iteration considerably, turning in the definitive NCAA football experience. Incredibly deep, with tons of new features: Weekly SI covers, EABio mode, better AI, more realistic tackling, the list goes on. Well worth the money.

Xbox Nation MagazineDynasty mode allows you to enjoy one of the best college football games ever created in a setting that, at times, feels like an adventure or role-playing game. [Aug 2003, p.88]
-
It's the updated version to the best sports game of last year and brings a bit more to the table such as better defensive backs and more control on the offensive side of the ball.
-
A game that should be online for the XBOX.
