    To be honest, the traffic at times was so heavy that I wondered who in their right mind would be holding a street race in the middle of it.

    Where LA Rush beats the others to the winning post is in the way that it allows you to spend the money you earn - welcome to the video game equivalent of MTV's hit TV show "Pimp My Ride."

    I loved the graphics of this game, the cars were flashy and the maps were enormous. Landmarks were right on and transitions from one area to the next were seamless.

    I'd say the game is pretty average in every way possible. There's nothing really to praise and some stuff to argue with, but in the end, justI'd say the game is pretty average in every way possible. There's nothing really to praise and some stuff to argue with, but in the end, just move along and don't bother. Take your time with Midnight Club.

    Pros: big map, different regions, original cars, licensed cars, story and motivation, some music tracks, choice of genres and custom soundtrack option (doesn't help much tho).
    Cons: ridiculous number of car traffic (logically, could work but it's a game - more traffic equal more pain. The town isn't well designed for races, boring tuning (only once and automatically with fancy pimp my ride theme on background), you always in need with money, police is annoying, every goddamn car feels the same + frustrating crashes.    … Full Review »

    What happened to the rush series!? This is terrible, not much fun. Cops are everywhere, traffic is crazy, almost always in your way. Hard to What happened to the rush series!? Only thing good is the cars, using real licensed cars is fun, too bad they don't handle anywhere close to how they should.… Full Review »
