I love YGO but this game is too OP!

When players can special summon +10 monsters in a single round and end the game in 1 turn then something is seriously BROKEN with these cards. These structured decks are way too OP! It takes the fun away when there's no strategy or back-and-forth between players, just total obliteration in 1 round because a single spell card allows you to play a 20

It takes the fun away when there's no strategy or back-and-forth between players, just total obliteration in 1 round because a single spell card allows you to play a 20 card chain combo while your opponent can't do anything but sit there and watch for 10mins... And don't bother playing trap cards because they will be destroyed almost immediately.

Of course I could also use a structured deck of my own, I've got plenty so far, but the whole point of this game is to strategically create your own personal unique deck catered to your playing style, but that's SUICIDE. What's the fun in using an OP deck someone else created for you and winning in 1 round.

I love the premise of this game and I've been excited for months because there hasn't been a good YGO game since Duel Generations, but that game had some structure, this game is pure chaos and too easy to obtain rare and ultra rare broken cards and decks in a pay-to-win system and that saddens me to say and give this game such a low rating because it could have been excellent if it wasn't just too OP.

I just hope at some point everyone gets bored of using structured decks and crafts their own unique decks, then maybe it will be more fun and interesting to see who comes up on to due to pure wit and strategy.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Good y'all made this POS free. If I wanna play a game where all I get is cards that I don't need at moment after building a deck built to bring out monsters and good plays and your opponent (THE CPU) for 10+ duel in a row get everything they need first 6 and the next 20 cards is EXACTLY what they need. I'd go back to yugioh Legacy of the duelist (The latest one to legacy) All y'all did was ReWash a game and add on to it. Nothing improved, Otherwise just like you failed to make yugioh a good game With legacy...yeah let's go ahead and make Masters and FAIL at that too...get this POS outta here Expand

Ok to begin with but eventually you hit a brick wall u can't ever pass unless you have purchased a deck with your wallet until that time comes you'll be an old man and the odds are tomuch you'll get killed fast

Fun way to get back into the franchise for new and returning players. From the tutorial it engages and teaches you again how to play if you’ve forgotten. It’s very in depth in terms of technicalities, with many of your favorite monsters, traps from the TV show and original card game.

If you have a lot of prior Yu-Gi-Oh! knowledge, and the time to invest, Master Duel is most certainly a good game, deep down. For the rest of us lesser mortals, the bar to entry is set ridiculously high, and feels like the world it holds is basically impenetrable.

By its proposal, Duel Master clearly distinguishes itself from Duel Links, the other free-to-play in the universe of Yu-Gi-Oh!. By focusing solely on the playing card game, the title offers a very complete experience with official rules and a huge collection of cards on all media thanks to cross-platform.
