    Maybe it's recency bias, but this is one of the best platformers I've ever played. The combination of puzzle solving and platforming is just perfect. It's not too long either, which is a bonus. In fact, it left me wanting more and I've since become a fan of the Pikmin games because of Tinykin. Just an overall joy of a game.

    I grew up with Pikmin 1 and it is one of my favorite games ever. So, I am forever lured to any games similar to it. This game has a few key similarities to Pikmin, but it is a collect-a-thon platformer and not a strategy game. It is cute and delightful with a gorgeous art style, similar to Paper Mario.

    You are an shrunken character exploring a house inhabited by insects. Each room    I grew up with Pikmin 1 and it is one of my favorite games ever. So, I am forever lured to any games similar to it. This game has a few key similarities to Pikmin, but it is a collect-a-thon platformer and not a strategy game. It is cute and delightful with a gorgeous art style, similar to Paper Mario.

    You are an shrunken character exploring a house inhabited by insects. Each room represents a level and an entirely unique environment. Exploring is fun and easygoing, enhanced by the cheerful soundtrack. The game is straightforward with a few well hidden secrets to find. You also meet many humorous NPCs. My favorite is a group of tired looking silverfishes named Chill, Reelaks, Napp, etc.

    While the story isn't great, it is pretty mysterious and the game has plenty of world-building. It concludes with a sweet and worthwhile ending. This is a joyous game that I am happy to have played.    … Expand

    The game was recently removed from Gamepass, so I read through other users' reviews. At first I was a bit critical because it looks a bit boring in test videos. But I completely revised my opinion. The game plays ultra-relaxed. My loot addiction was really awakened.
    The story is nice, too. Surprisingly, it even highlights various societal conflicts in a low-threshold way.     The title is crap, who named it that? Put me off before I started. Art style is crap, music is crap, I don't like the setting. Everything sucks balls but somehow it manages to be fun as hell and I don't even like platformers normally.

    It's actually a very cleverly designed game. Could do with a couple of things being a bit more obvious and a couple of things that could have been better. An example is I couldn't find the picture frame on the first level and it was really hard to find cos the creatures holding the picture kept blocking my view of the level with it. It's really a blast to play with responsive controls and quick movement making it fast and fun and there are more nooks and crannies to explore than you could imagine and cleverly hidden things.

    Some things just a little too hidden being my main issue as it slowed down progression a tad when I was stuck trying to find one thing.

    Not gonna dip my score for this though. Had more fun with this in one night than I did with all of Mario Odyssey (bar the Jump Up Superstar bit).    … Expand

    Very close to a 10/10! Very entertaining! Even on a base xbox one it runs smoothly! Graphics 9/10, Audio 8/10, Gameplay 10/10, Loading 8/10

    waaaaaaay underrated! best game of the genre that i've played since banjo kazooie (one of my favorites of all time). for me it would go banjo kazooie > tinykin > the best mario 3d so far. absolutely lovely, this game.

    Sometimes you see just a tiny bit of Gameplay and you say to yourself: Oh my god - that's amazing! Tinykin was exactly that type of game for me and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The "miniature" world of Tinykin brought back childhood memories from the Toy Story 2 game that was released more than 20 years ago whose settings I absolutely loved. The same is true for Tinykin -Sometimes you see just a tiny bit of Gameplay and you say to yourself: Oh my god - that's amazing! Tinykin was exactly that type of game for me and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The "miniature" world of Tinykin brought back childhood memories from the Toy Story 2 game that was released more than 20 years ago whose settings I absolutely loved. The same is true for Tinykin - every room feels carefully crafted and is absolutely entertaining. Usually I'm not that much interested in completing every side mission or reaching a 100% - Tinykin was different for me. It got me interested in doing it because it's "missions" didn't feel like a chore but a pleasure to do. I hope to see a sequel of Tinykin in the future or at least a DLC with additional rooms - I'm all in for it. For now it's definitely in my Indie Games Hall of Fame.… Expand

    I usually don't like the term "hidden gem", as it is used far too ubiquitously, but this game is definitely one. Colourful graphics with delightful art design, charming dialogue with tons of referential jokes, and, most importantly of all, very tight and precise platforming controls with the added bonus of the somewhat Pikmin-like Tinykin. Anybody who likes 3D platformers should DEFINITELYI usually don't like the term "hidden gem", as it is used far too ubiquitously, but this game is definitely one. Colourful graphics with delightful art design, charming dialogue with tons of referential jokes, and, most importantly of all, very tight and precise platforming controls with the added bonus of the somewhat Pikmin-like Tinykin.     Fini sur Series X en un peu moins de 8h à 100%.
    Ce jeu très inspiré de Pikmin est immédiatement addictif. Difficile de lâcher la manette jusqu'au générique de fin. Le titre est plutôt joli, l'ambiance excellente, très bien pensé et très accessible.

    A pesar de ser una versión simplificada del Pikmin. El juego destaca por su carisma, diseño grafico y jugabilidad. En conclusión una interesante propuesta que no decepciona e incluso se hace bastante corto.

    Exploration is pure joy in this game, gameplay, music, ending, everything is good i was surprised, thanks to game pass i tried it.

    Wow. I had so much fun with this charming-as-heck pikmin platformer. The visuals are amazing and the gameplay is smooth. These are games I want to play and I love that it isn't stupidly hard to play; it's downright easy but so so satisfying.

    Tinykin is a very relaxing and fun game. The humor and setting are able to shine throughout. The level designs are fun and intricate. The puzzles were pretty simple and the pacing made it a breeze to play through. Beat in around 6 hours, played on xbox gamepass

    A cute platformer that can be finished in a day or two. I found no real bugs, besides perhaps the camera being off on a few specific spots, but nothing major.

The game mechanics are solid, and at multiple points, I thought I had broken the game and would need a restart, but I never did. Any weird issue I found myself in where I was worried I did something too soon and I wouldn't be able to do another crucial part of the level due to triggering something too early, the game accounted for it and I ran into zero hiccups.

    I knew nothing of this game going in and upon completion, it's immediately in my GOTY talks. I loved it.    … Expand

Me siento afortunado de formar parte de esta plataforma (xbox) y haber tenido la oportunidad de jugarlo mediante game pass.     Fantastic little game. Pure pleasure to play, tons of fun.
    Feels like a first party Nintendo title, in a best kind of way.

    No bugs or technical issues throughout the game to distract from the experience, which is also important.

The game "auto" deploys whatever tiny kin are necessary for a task, and the task is always highlighted on the screen. This braindead interactivity is MUCH MORE CLOSE TO SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE than Pikmin. Except in Sunshine, when you saw gunk and pressed a button to "fix gunk", you at least had the gameplay element of moving the controller around to eliminate the gunk. In Tinykin, you see an obstacle, you place your reticle over the obstacle and press the "tinykin button" and they jump out and solve the issue. It is completely brain dead.

    This is another example of a modern brain dead video game that others would describe as "chill" and "relaxing". To me it's just a waste of time, tedious and boring. Minus all of the pointless embellishments, Tinykin is a 3D platfomer with no danger, no death, no strategy, and no challenge. Zero. It's not present. It's just a game where you jump around on platforms collecting widgets and occasionally press a button to interact with a background object.    … Expand

    Tinykin is by far the most fun indie game that I've played in 2022,charming visuals,great/clever level design, beautiful music...my only complain about it was the search for the collectables by the end of the story which can be frustrating without a guide...other than that,,,,it's a blast from the start to the finish.

Небольшой мир, который не хочется покидать, несложные задания, юмор, никакого напряга, ничего лишнего и ненужного, никаких боссфайтов и смертей с отбрасыванием назад по сюжету. Зато какой кайф, когда ты несёшься по локации на куске мыла, решая очередное задание, а за тобой орущая толпа тайникинов. Спасибо tinyBuild, оченьИнтересная и увлекательная игра.     Me gustó mucho el juego, lo jugué en la casa de mi amigo y me dijo que era muy entretenido así que lo jugué y fue muy divertido y entretenido pero con la música del fondo se siente mejor la experiencia. 9/10

    What an awesome little game. Just a really chill game to play full of bright puzzles and really simple puzzles. I think the sequel could improve by making the puzzles a little more challenging but I hope they keep it free of enemies, it's nice just sliding around on my soap without a care in the world

    Wow this game is fantastic! The platforming is so tight and everything feels streamlined and snappy. My wife watched me beat it and now she's play.

    Music could be a bit better

    I spent about 12 hours beating the game and doing some of the side quests. I'm guessing I could put another 5 or so hours into it. I admit, I take my time playing so my guess is most people will get through this game in about 10 hours. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and glad it was on GamePass because it's a game I probably would have missed otherwise. I think $25 is more than fair for a fun,I spent about 12 hours beating the game and doing some of the side quests. I'm guessing I could put another 5 or so hours into it.     Addictive platformer which pushes you to discover every last inch of its game levels. Great fun for the 7-8 hours It took to finish it. Framerates drop a bit in the later levels, but not so much that it affects gameplay.

    Phenomenal little hidden gem, I will be very sad if people sleep on this one...

    Performance is great, rock solid 60fps at what looks like a crisp 4k on series X, HDR pops.
    Controls are crisp and responsive
    The Tinykins are cute AF and give real locoroco vibes
    Art style is phenomenal, I can tell this was a passion project and i truly hope the devs are proud of their work, they should be!

    Has some similarities to Pikmin with Toy Story map type atmosphere. Only took about 6 hours to beat. Worth a playthrough for sure. Starts to feel repetitive near the end but the base gameplay mechanics is fun enough for sure. Has some funny dialogue at times.

    Yes, Tinykin is definitely a good one. The game may be short, but it feels great. With its mastered and skilfully used gameplay, stimulating exploration, a lot of humour and an appealing art direction, Splashteam's game manages to give us a great time. In short, it's a real breath of fresh air that will certainly delight fans of the genre and will certainly surprise all the others.

    Tinykin is a minuscule and and relaxing experience with some fun Nintendo-vibes. The game is quite short, but for its five hours runtime you won't have the chance to ever feel bored.

    Tinykin is a meaningful experience that reminds me of why I fell in love with video games. I hope a lot of people play it so we get more colorful and wonderful titles like Tinykin because games like this are what it’s all about.
