    The last hero of nostalgaia is a fun souls like that doesnt take itself seriously. The game is not as difficult as most souls like games but be aware you will still die a lot. The thing about this game that stands out the most is the incredible dialogues from the narrator with the all over the place art style that represents different ages in gaming. You go from very pixelated models to that of high resolution. The gameplay is very well done for a indi dev team and feels almost identical to the dark souls series. So for every souls like fan I would recommend this game as it a fun game to go through. Not the most difficult one just a really fun one.… Expand

    From its opening moments, to the credits and everywhere in between, the humor The Last Hero of Nostalgaia brings is surely part of its focus, bringing a more lighthearted approach to a Soulslike. Nearly every item description has some humor, even to the achievements, all topped off with plenty of fan service and gaming references you’re sure to recognize. Sure the humor wears a little thin the latter half, but fans should enjoy this different take on their favorite genre.

    The Last Hero of Nostalgaia is funny from the first step. From its nods to Soulsborne games like notes on the floor giving you hints, to its joypad smashingly difficult boss battles, The Last Hero is a really solid and incredibly wholesome feeling title.
