Apr 27, 2025Steel Seed moves between highs and lows while still being enjoyable for its entire duration, shining in its settings and in the stealth and platforming phases, while the story and combat system are definitely improvable. If you love stealth action and cybernetic atmospheres, it's worth giving it a chance.

Apr 29, 2025Steel Seed is a solid new IP of a game; one that does mostly everything okay. There are some good action sequences, platforming mechanics that are fun, stealth, combat and skill trees to invest in. The story is good too, but fails to ever wow or do anything to keep your attention for the long term.

Apr 28, 2025Despite some early potential, we came away from Steel Seed underwhelmed by its muddled gameplay style and not all that compelling tale. It has its moments, but players looking for either stealth or action gaming are best off looking elsewhere.

Apr 23, 2025The more I played of Steel Seed the more I felt like that old saying where the kid asks for McDonalds and their mom says they have that at home. Yea, well Steel Seed is like the Stellar Blade we have at home. While the game itself is competent, its greatest sin for me is that it just wasn’t very fun. This seed didn’t bring forth the crop I thought it would, and I suggest just skipping this one.
