Feb 18, 2025It’s amazing how good the game still looks for a game that is two generations old. It moves quite smooth and the lighting effects are really good. Shadows of the Damned deserves more recognition than it gets. I hardly ever heard anything about it when it first released and even now with the Hella Remastered release I still don’t hear much about this game. Suda51 fans already know of its greatness – I’m pretty sure of this. If you haven’t played this game and you like RE4, you definitely need to give it a try. This game is literally calling to you but you haven’t heard it yet. Answer the call. It’s trying its best to get through to you!

Nov 12, 2024Shadows of the Damned is the definition of a cult classic. The game is just fun, and I adore the wackiness I expect from Suda51 mixed with the core game design from MIkami. Toss in the excellent voice acting and score, and you have a game that should be a household name. Do not skip this title for a second time. Give it a shot, I promise you will play nothing else like it…ever.

Nov 12, 2024Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered from developer and publisher Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. isn’t a remastered game that people might have been asking for, but it might be now after what it brings to the third-person shooter table. Ultimately, it’s a stupid fun action game driven by gore, a well-acted story, and a thick amount of creativity that looks better and acts better than it did back in 2011.
