    The gameplay in Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut is solid, the story is excellent, and this is an improvement over Shadowrun Returns.

    Game is really good, and I’m not lying, but they savaged directors cut.

    For example there is an “etiquette” mechanic in a game, when you can use certain dialogue options. In directors cut they removed one of such etiquettes, but left the options in dialogues, which are eternally unavailable now. Or numerous bugs, when you need to defend couple of spots from waves of enemies but they don’t show up, and instead of one of the most interesting and tactically complex battles you get the easiest one where literally nothing happens.
    Or general bug that a lot of people face according to forums - right in the late game you can access terminal to learn critical things about the game plot and lore, but it simply doesn’t work so you can’t interact with it as it says (hostiles nearby) while there aren’t obviously

    That’s just the tip of the iceberg. The game is great - technical aspects are terrible, considering that base version was much better and they just broke a lot of things in this extra edition, which had to be patched and complete version - I don’t really get how they managed to do so) and I’ll put a 1 here to get developers attention so they maybe will fix at least couple of bugs here which are ignored on their forums?    … Full Review »
