I enjoyed what I played, I just wanted more. Rayland looked great and had fantastic music but it was a bare-bones puzzle game though. For the low price, it’s a good enough puzzle game to quickly bulk up your Gamerscore, I just wish it had made my brain work a little harder.

Rayland is a deceptive puzzle title that'll suck you in. You'll fly through the opening stages but the introduction of new mechanics and a lack of a hint system will stop you in your tracks. Sadly, though, it doesn't trend new ground, but this matters not. Manipulate the lasers and deliver the energy on every stage.

Rayland - quick, easy and, for some, nothing but Gamerscore fodder. It is a puzzle game that focuses on getting lasers to point at a goal; something which will have been done better in other games, even where it isn’t the main feature.
