    Pure entertainment, joyous creative fun. Is it flawless? No. But you won’t find a more consistently delightful experience on the market this year.

Don't believe me, just check out the previous reviews of most of the '0' pointers, they either don't have any prior reviews or have a ton of prior PS reviews... spooky eh!?

    Anyway, the game itself... quite simply it's very enjoyable, and a light-hearted take on dealing with some serious issues like mental health problems.

    The graphics are simply fine technically speaking, running flawlessly at native 4K@60Hz on my Series X, and a silky smooth 1440p@120Hz. Though, I can understand that some people may not be all that keen on the colourful "Tim Burton-esque" like cartoony graphical art style.

    Best thing though... it didn't cost me a penny outside of my Gamepass subscription... Bargain! :)    … Expand

    Wonderful game. Brings me back to my younger years but with upgraded graphics. Gameplay is similar but I enjoyed it then and I enjoy it now.

    Amazing beautiful work of art of a game. Zoomers u can play fortnite or some grinding donate-sucking **** from ubisoft or ea.

    I've waited 15 years for this game and I wasn't disappointed at all. Tight gameplay, imaginative worlds and an absorbing story makes this one of the finest games I've played in a long time.

    Gran juego con un arte y estilo peculiar, Tim Schafer vuelve a lo grande con esta gran aventura llena de retos, humor negro y diversión a raudales. Estamos ante uno de los grandes tapados del año y que no hace más que darle la razón a Microsoft con el acierto de comprar Double Fine.

    I went into the game with pretty low expectations. I don’t usually like platformers and even R&C: Rift Apart did very little for me despite its critical acclaim. I have to say though, this game is brilliantly written, with quirky characters and fun gameplay. The only thing I can say against it, is that it is too short. Hopefully Microsoft really invest in the franchise after this becauseI went into the game with pretty low expectations. I don’t usually like platformers and even R&C: Rift Apart did very little for me despite its critical acclaim. I have to say though, this game is brilliantly written, with quirky characters and fun gameplay. The only thing I can say against it, is that it is too short.     What an absolute creative masterpiece. This game slides in and out of genres, is superbly written, and has original and engaging platforming. The levels are wild, you literally never know what to expect.

    I am blown away. Even with the huge amount of nostalgia I have for the original.. The worlds the characters the gameplay.. This game improves the formula on every single level. I'm so happy that Double Fine was given the time and money to put this amount of effort into the sequel because frankly these days with a highly anticipated sequel like this one you go in expecting the worst..     2. Not a fanboy... this is my first xbox since the 360, and I I've owned all 5 Playstations.
    3. I knew nothing about this series or that the game was even due for release. And despite this I'd probably make Psychonauts 2 my goty.     But what elevates P2 above any game like this I've ever played are the characters, writing, locations and just the bat **** craziness of it all. It never feels like it's trying to be funny or zany either, it's just a crazy mix of almost Monty Python like dry humour and creepy yet charming Tim Burton horror. Absolutely loved it.    … Expand

    I loved the theme of the game
    This color mix looks great.
    I missed platform games on Xbox.
    I played the first one on Xbox classic and the second hit my desire to play the first one aagain.

    Absolutely brilliant. Not only does it successfully recapture the magic of the first game, but it improves on it in every way. I admit, I doubted if they could come up with concepts as fresh and original as the first game all these years later but they really have. But it also shows that the creators have matured a great deal in the time since. It's bigger and packs in more dazzlingAbsolutely brilliant.     Great game. The controls are good, and the psychedelic story telling is amazing. The art style reminds me of something out of a Tim Burton movie.

    Pra quem não jogou o Psychonauts 1, não se preocupem, podem iniciar deste que mesmo assim você vai gostar da história. E após terminar este, você vai querer jogar o 1.

    The artwork and setting are simply spectacular. The story is great, it is deep and has a great sense of humor. The gameplay is addictive. 100% recommended.

    Wonderful, clever, heartfelt writing. Fun, appealing, art style. Animation that’s full of personality. The gameplay is simplistic, but this does not detract from any of the positive aspects of this game. In fact it keeps the pacing perfect as you’re constantly introduced to new and inventive situations back to back. No idea is lingered on for longer than it needs to be. There are a handfulWonderful, clever, heartfelt writing. Fun, appealing, art style. Animation that’s full of personality. The gameplay is simplistic, but this does not detract from any of the positive aspects of this game. In fact it keeps the pacing perfect as you’re constantly introduced to new and inventive situations back to back. No idea is lingered on for longer than it needs to be. There are a handful of abrupt transitions between scenes that feel like some content was cut, but that is the only outright negative I can even come up with, and it’s a minor gripe. Genuinely some of the finest writing I’ve experienced in a video game in years. Recommended to anyone.… Expand

    Gran juego, el diseño artistico aunque no es fotorealista, tiene su personalidad, no todo debe ser pelijuegos, tambien es bueno en jugabilidad y cantidad de niveles, que se juegan de diferentes maneras.. no hacer caso a los 0 de los sonyers

    Psychonauts 2 is a superb sequel that appeals to both long-time fans and newcomers. With a engaging story full of twists and turns, excellent witty dialogue, and a gorgeous visual palette, exploring people's minds has never been so fun and thrilling.

    Psychonauts 2 managed to restore my faith in the genre of 3D platformers. This is a creative volcano spewing ideas left and right - it can make you laugh, it can make you cry, it can make you think. And it will definitely make you have fun.

    Psychonauts 1 is the perfect example of the term cult classic, and Psychonauts 2 has created another masterpiece that I am only assuming won’t receive the attention it deserves. They have perfected and expanded on their original idea in every way and created a world full of heart and fun. It’s been well documented that the last few years it took to bake were used to expand the boss battles, and finely polish the areas that were complete. It’s clear that the added funds from being a Microsoft studio were put to good use and the team at Double Fine should be very proud of what they have created. I cannot wait to see what they create next.
