    PGA Tour 2K23 is a great improvement to the previous game and a big return to one of the best golfers in the game that is Tiger Woods.

    Beautiful graphics; Great course landscape variety; Lots of shot options; Relatively good swing mechanics.

    Thoughts-
    For a game about playing golf, PGA Tour 2K23 does most things right. Its mechanics are most of the way there, with only a few tweaks and increased consistency needed to make it feel exactly right. There’s so much variety in the types of shots you can make and the different lies you’ll have to hit from that it really does mirror a real-life golf round in a lot of ways. Around the edges, though, things start to fall apart, with the lackluster television aesthetic and generally small list of players and courses. For anyone looking to simply play golf, PGA Tour 2K23 will do the trick if you can overlook a few nitpicks in the gameplay, though it will need to be much more fleshed out in the future to be considered among the best sports games on the market.    … Expand

    Man is this game great.
    One big bug, that hasnt been fixed since 2k21 for specifically xbsx. The commentary is echoing, sounds terrible, and I dont want to turn it off. Can't you guys just please fix it already??

    (A fix is to set your xbox audio settings to "uncompressed", but that sounds generally worse than the default windows sonic. I dont want to be changing it everytime I play this game...)

    Absolutely love this game! The graphics are amazing, and the overall gameplay is very fun and enjoyable! Also love the ability to Crete and play courses.

    PGA TOUR 2K23 doesn’t improve all that much compared to 2K21. Sure, actually playing as the pros is a nice treat and all, but you're still kinda playing as yourself. Every single club appearance feels exactly the same (I liked how PGA TOUR 2K21's club appearance felt kinda different), and the "Fittings" don't do a good job at changing that. ALSO, PRESSING THE SELECT BUTTON TO OPEN UP APGA TOUR 2K23 doesn’t improve all that much compared to 2K21. Sure, actually playing as the pros is a nice treat and all, but you're still kinda playing as yourself. Every single club appearance feels exactly the same (I liked how PGA TOUR 2K21's club appearance felt kinda different), and the "Fittings" don't do a good job at changing that. ALSO, PRESSING THE SELECT BUTTON TO OPEN UP A HELP MENU JUST P**SES ME OFF! Overall, PGA TOUR 2K23 is just not very good.… Expand

    Golf is back and fans of the sport will be thrilled with this new entry in the PGA Tour family. However other general sports fans will feel left out due to the elitist vibe this game produces.

    PGA Tour 2K23 may have skipped a year, and maybe that’s where my expectations were higher than they should have been, but there’s really not a massive upgrade from 2K21 overall. Yes the gameplay is still solid and I really loved the addition of the 3-Click Swing, but the heavy microtransactions and a useless Free Clubhouse Pass is a bit of a turnoff and shows 2K’s influence on the great HB Studios.
