Dec 15, 2020I only played it solo, but it is an enjoyable dark little tale. The puzzles themselves are quite simple, but coordination between the two characters poses a real challenge.

Dec 17, 2020Just finished it in coop mode - well done puzzle game with great design. Some puzzles was pretty hard but we beat it in under 3 hours with my wife. Excellent realisation of cooperation (boat level for example)

Nov 30, 2021We played it coop and had a few hours of fun. Your quest is to bring the lightball to its target and basically need to avoid the shadows. For 10 bucks it's okay. Some good puzzles and only few bugs. The last quarter was a bit of 'wtf' because of the level design ^^

Jan 25, 2021Morkredd's main mechanic succinctly reflects my own thoughts on it altogether. The glowing orb represents life: punctuating atmosphere, inspired visual design, and a motivating gimmick. But when you begin to step away, as you wander outside its glow, you encounter death: day-one DLC, technical problems, an atrocious finale, and more. These severe disparities, bright day and atramentous night, imply even genre fans will be ambivalent towards it.

Jan 6, 2021Morkredd has a fascinating setting, an audio that helps to create dark atmospheres and an interesting use of lights and shadows, which almost represent a metaphor for life. Too bad that gameplay wise, Morkredd fails to shine due to a short duration and a low difficulty. The feeling is that it could have been done more, taking advantage of the promising premises.

Dec 24, 2020Morkredd is an interesting experiment in the use of light and dark to solve puzzles. However, the constraints of all the shadowy deaths and the occasionally frustrating movement of the ball stops Morkredd from being a better game. Through the great artwork there are hints this could have been something more.
