    The graphics are AMAZING. Very fun simulator/game to play. Very immersive and fluid game play even in 30 fps. The only con is loading times that are very long.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator is a technical leap within the new generation of hardware. It's unbelievable that you can literally fly around the globe with live traffic and weather conditions. There is something special about flying an airplane like you should in real life and flying over recognizable places. At the same time, it obviously remains a simulator where, as a layman, a lot of patience is needed. However, the short challenges, flying lessons and exploration tours make up for a lot and will give the casual player the ‘fix’ needed to keep going.

    Look at this experience as a must for Xbox Gamepass owners that will be played every now and then to be enchanted by the world from the sky.

    Pros:
    - The entire globe available to explore
    - Real time elements
    - Challenges, tours and fly lessons

    Cons:
    - Flying low over land have impact on the framerate

    It's an interesting thing to look at the bad reviews swimming among a sea of good reviews. There are a few zeroes from people that seem to miss the entire reason that this game exists, or simply fighting their plastic box wars.

    I played this for several hours, and despite the impressive visuals, I was more impressed with the feel of the game.     I played this for several hours, and despite the impressive visuals, I was more impressed with the feel of the game. There will be a lot of people that are looking at how realistic this game is on visuals and control, but I was more into how it felt to fly.

    Now I ain't one of them smart folks that can easily pick up new skills and such, so whether this is an accurate simulation is something I can never really comment on.

    There was a sense of peace in moments when flying over iconic landmarks across the globe that I feel like I can never really have in other games.

    This review may not be helpful to anyone, just wanted to add some positivity to counter the users that post negative reviews just to bring something down.    … Expand

    the entire world to explore in a plane. i dont enjoy flying cuz of heights and all but flying in the game is zen like. the only problem is the size of the game cuz my XS has very limited internal storage and this takes up half of its data.
    if they add trains ill make this a 10

You take to the skies and explore Earth and it's many, many landmarks, natural or manmade. Due to it's realistic mapping of our planet, you can find the location of your house and fly by, or in my experience, crash into next-door.

    If you want a game where you can visit half the    Microsoft Flight Sim is not game, it's an experience. There's not many games that have visuals is amazing. There are also so many aircraft to choose from, with more and more being added to the workshop all the time.     Warning this isn't actually a game but a flight simulator. If you don't like flying, stay away.

    Quick background on me the reviewer, I tend to like single player games that is heavy on narrative the most. I also play a lot of racing games and use to play multiplayer games in my high school days but now that it's hard for me and my friends to find a good time to link up so now it’s more rare for me to get into a multiplayer game. Up to try any genre of games and sometimes I find something new that I didn't think I'd like. I own a PC (built by me), Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, PS3, PS4, PS5, and a Switch. I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (9) Superb. Just shy of gaming nirvana, this score is a high recommendation because the game reviewed is head-and-shoulders above its competition.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator is the most innovated accomplishment a developer has been able to accomplish. It’s impressive that you can fly through the entire world using google maps technology. You can fly above your neighborhood and see your house, where you went to school, and etc… Microsoft have been adding free updates to add more detail to worldwide notable landmarks/cities. There are training modules to help you learn how to fly a plane that relates to the real world. The only negative is that sometimes it feels like the tech for consoles is still not there yet since you’ll get booted from the game after 1-2 hours of flying in free flight mode but other times it’ll work just fine. Now, beware that this is more a simulator than a game, so it might not appeal to everyone. Otherwise, the graphics are mind blowing and the perfomance is good for the most part. Being able to fly anywhere in the world aboard small planes and airliners is aMicrosoft Flight Simulator is the best and most realistic flight simulator.     Una auténtica obra de arte, un verdadero juego Next Gen imposible de ver en otras consolas, poder elegir cualquier parte del planeta y Vilar sobre el con esos graficos era impensable asta ahora verlo en consolas y donde se demuestra que series x y series s son auténticas bestias que no se les puede hacer competencia a nivel gráfico.

    This I probably the most graphically impressive game to launch ever. The amount of detail that has gone into crafting the planes is insane and the technology behind the land generation is unreal.

    Breath taking a true technical achievement for the console port the assessable nature of the game really allows for a large amount of first time player to try the game out with the ability to customised how hard/realistic you experience I can see a new generation of flight simulation enthusiasm

    Incredible experience for all ages. Enjoy the beauty of the world from the sky. Great for all
    Ages my 5 year old and my Grandma loved it and it’s easy to control and play with the Xbox controller. The game runs on Ultra like PC settings on the series X console according to Digital Foundry. This is the most graphically impressive game ever. Stunning highly recommended

    There is no other game at this level of detail and beauty. This is the most mesmerizing game I have ever played. The immersion into the game is real.

    Yeap for sure u ll see reviews like 0 or 2 but that is just mad sony fans than need to buy a pc to enjoy this superb fligh simulator! And no this is not a game , its not call of duty or ace combat!

    A true graphical masterpiece. The game is not for everyone but if this is your kind of thing (like it is mine) then you will love it. I find the game to be very relaxing to play. I do recommend completing the flight training first. Overall it’s a great experience that I highly recommend.

    I really do like the game it has a deep tutorial that teaches you all the little things and an Marketplace for Modders where they can sell theire own stuff and also add free stuff from the community.

    Flying the first time over my own house, workplace and many other lovations i am almost daily to find is so surreal to see represented in realtime on my tv whilst i fly over it! I bought a flight stick to full immerse myself in this game. And it has stolen my gaming heart. I get it, you don't like it, but who told you that you were getting Ace Combat? Give it a review for how good of a flight Sim it is. Please don't buy this game just because it looks pretty (it does that). You can see all the pretty videos on YouTube of it. Only get it if you're interested in flight simulation. And this is actual simulation. Not the kind of "simulation" video games like "Sim" City and "The Sims" all sports "simulations"/ and even great games like Planet Coaster (though that's not a self declared simulation). Please look up the word simulation if you don't know what it is. Then expect that. If you still want it. You'll love this game. If you don't, move on. Unless you have Gamepass, if you do (and you should) then play it for an hour, see your house, crash, and call it a day. I'll be spending my time flying across the world over hours and hours doing nothing but monitoring instruments, seeing the world (the whole thing is literally here), and, I'm not gonna lie, using autopilot while I play my phone on occasion. Hey, I'm not perfect. This "game" on the other hand (it's technically a game btw, simulations designed for entertainment are games I'm afraid. No matter how much you don't want it to be.), Anyway, this "game" is quite perfect.… Expand

    First of all, it’s amazing what the developers managed to achieve with a game that made even the most expensive PC graphics cards sweat. The landscapes and cities look simply breathtaking on Xbox Series X, and the console doesn’t get red-hot. However, I did encounter some technical issues, like vanishing textures or even a sudden crash back to the main menu. I’m also not a fan of keeping the interface identical to the PC version, because it means sometimes you need to use your controller as a poor substitute for a mouse. [10/2021, p.67]

    The world's most famous flightsim has flown to the Xbox and stuck the landing. Deep gameplay and a diverse offering of planes make for hours upon hours of virtual pilot fun. You'll have to overlook some performance issues, though.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator is not without its faults. The user interface is hardly user-friendly, opting for a simple recreation of the PC version without much thought given to console gaming. The Flight Training tutorials could have some added polish to make them more accommodating to aspiring pilots. And finally, if I’m going to crash, let me crash in style. Give me epic explosions or something to punctuate my failures – not just a simple black screen. If you’re currently an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, then you have no choice at all – download Microsoft Flight Simulator right at this moment and experience this amazing accomplishment in gaming. Yes, this game is a simulator, but it’s a simulator that does so many things right.
