    ISLANDERS: New Shores is an absolute treasure that improves on everything set up before. Amazingly, it also ends up being a great entry point for newcomers by remaining soothing and unstuffy even with the added bells and whistles.

    It’s a nice comforting game to re-engage with, as ISLANDERS: New Shores adds in just enough improvements to justify being a sequel. The boon system is a great addition, as are the new buildings and islands on offer.

    Islanders: New Shores is a delightful invitation to creativity and travel. With its minimalist, colourful and charming graphics, it is very poetic and also features a beautiful soundtrack indulging us in moments of zen and relaxation. Its gameplay is quick to learn and accessible, allowing everyone to get started with this simple but original city builder. We had a lot of fun discovering this title, which offers a nice little break that is both soothing and entertaining.
