May 11, 2023Farming is tedious and unintuitive, dungeon crawling get old quick. The game feels like it has no direction and the trend of making the sex of the character creation non binary is just ridiculous. Was hopeful for this game but the execution seems very amateur. Fortunately it was free in game pass. I’d avoid it as it’s not worth your time

May 11, 2023Homestead Arcana is a surface level farm-life sim/adventure game that can be best described as a vegetable that is too misshapen to be sold in the grocery store on its own. Rather bound up with the other ‘rejects’ for a cheaper price.

May 1, 2023Homestead Arcana is a game that, although it feels like it lacks work, it is clear that it knows how to bring new things to the genre, so it can be excellent for someone saturated with conventional farm games. For Serenity Forge, if they want to continue down this path, this title can be a very solid foundation for a promising future.
