    This is a masterpiece and a labour of love by Avalanche. It’s quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played, and this is from someone who has been gaming for 45 years. It is perfect for casual play where a 20 minute session still keeps you engaged, even if it’s just exploring or completing a side mission. I have it installed on PC, Steam Deck and XBSX and it scales and plays great on allThis is a masterpiece and a labour of love by Avalanche. It’s quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played, and this is from someone who has been gaming for 45 years. It is perfect for casual play where a 20 minute session still keeps you engaged, even if it’s just exploring or completing a side mission. I have it installed on PC, Steam Deck and XBSX and it scales and plays great on all those platforms. The visuals are sumptuous, audio and voice acting are great, and the open world is brimming with content.

    After all the hype surrounding Elden Ring (which I never bought or played because it just didn’t appeal to me as a world and visuals looked disappointing, and the gameplay far too hardcore), finally we have a game whose hype is actually justified.

    It reminds me of the first Fable game but is more free and open, richer and more rewarding. It’s like the Fable I’ve always wanted to play. I’m not really a massive Harry Potter fan, but you don’t need to be. Just play this to appreciate the artistry of the devs and their passion for the project.     Super happy with how this game turned out. It looks gorgeous on my Series X and LGC2. Story is good, exploration is on another level of fun. Would recommend 100%. PS I bought 3 copies. Doing my part to make the boycotters salty. One for me, one for the kid and one for a friend I owed a favor to. :D

    Hands down one of the best games I have played in years. The dedication of the developers to the world/lore is amazing, the graphics are phenomenal, and the story is excellently executed. If anything the only thing I would wish for is more of it!

    Although I feel like the game could have more overall scenario interaction, I'm very positively impressed by what they managed to do with the game and specially with the fighting mechanics. Excellent game!

    Absolutely excellent game. I haven't read the books since I was a young teenager, and was on the fence. But after seeing someone stream it, I had to dive in and - no regrets! Incredibly fun, exploring the castle is great

    Don't **** with us gamers. Keep your political **** out of our entertainment. This game is absolutely stunning in so many ways I couldn't even describe. Beautiful job by the developers!

Great writing, extremely amazing combat, fun side activities, living breathing world and a lot of things to do to occupy your time.

    Not only that, the PC version was absolutely created with love. 0 issues, a full array of PC specific settings, and a fantastic integration of mouse and KB with keybindings. This game just checks all the right boxes and one if not THE best and smoothest PC launch I've had in years.

    I haven't been this immersed in a game since The Witcher 3 and I haven't seen a AAA game this smooth either. Don't sleep on this.    … Expand

    Initially i thought of not buying since the studio included trans characters as a way to try to appease certain agenda groups (which were not appeased antway). In the end I bought it and enjoy playing, except the transvestite character parts (next time don't bend to anybody's pressure, write a story and stick to it).
    Great game overall though.

    Awesome, Graphics are great, open exciting world.
    Lot's of missions, well thought through.

    Minus: Fps drops in certain places, just bad optimization really, it needs an update.

    Don't listen to reviews that's are based on anything but the game. I've completed this game with over 40 hours played and it's absolutely a game of year contender. Open world filler content is done perfect and Ubisoft could learn a lot . Story is good and combat is perfect. Secrets are great.try for yourself . Loved it.

    Maravilloso, buenos gráficos, muchísimos detalles tanto adentro como afuera del castillo, un buen de misiones que completar y con varías opciones de gráficos para elegir (4K, 60 fps, Ray tracing etc)

    This game is magic! So cool to experience the world from a different time period. Combat is much better than I could imagine. Very little to complain about. PC needs work, though ps5 seems nearly flawless when it comes to performance. Hoping to see some good dlc and a sequel!

    This game is amazing and I’m happy to see the positive reviews are far outweighing the review bombing dolts. If you like Harry Potter’s world even a little, pick this up. You won’t regret it.

    I was debating between a 10 and a 9, but I decided to go with a 10 simply because this is the first game I have played in a long time that I felt was finished. I haven't had any game breaking bugs, only texture drops and weird physics after cutscenes. They put some love into the art direction of this game, and that beats a lot of the negatives imo. It feels immersive, and the sound is topI was debating between a 10 and a 9, but I decided to go with a 10 simply because this is the first game I have played in a long time that I felt was finished.     We all have to put out there for this studio to know: This game is so **** good! The love and hard work that I am seeing is mindblowing! I literally lost myself exploring the castle, didn't know where I was, from where I came, but was a feeling of lost that I didn't experienced with a game for like 5 years.     Hogwarts Legacy is littered with small niggles which, when stacked together, make the game feel like it was released over a decade ago. While the castle is a large enough area to explore, the monotony of repeating quests and tasks makes the game feel last-generation and boring over time. Hogwarts Legacy could already use some DLC's in order to expand the size of the world, add more complex spells, and introduce a wider array of enemies. If you are a power-nerd looking for a new and complete RPG, you will have to wait for Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, coming in April 2023. While most critics agree that Hogwarts Legacy is near perfect, due to the incomplete feeling of the game and lack of a solid story arc, it feels more Muggle than magic.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an extremely fun adventure, despite having some graphic and narrative difficulties. In the vast open world, which makes it possible to explore popular locations and live like a typical Hogwarts student, you will face interesting challenges in the path of unraveling the main mystery of the game. Even though it's an exciting adventure, even a muggle like me manages, at a certain point, to miss a greater magic to deliver everything that the fans expected.
