    This is a masterpiece and a labour of love by Avalanche. It’s quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played, and this is from someone who has been gaming for 45 years. It is perfect for casual play where a 20 minute session still keeps you engaged, even if it’s just exploring or completing a side mission. I have it installed on PC, Steam Deck and XBSX and it scales and plays great on allThis is a masterpiece and a labour of love by Avalanche. It’s quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played, and this is from someone who has been gaming for 45 years. It is perfect for casual play where a 20 minute session still keeps you engaged, even if it’s just exploring or completing a side mission. I have it installed on PC, Steam Deck and XBSX and it scales and plays great on all those platforms. The visuals are sumptuous, audio and voice acting are great, and the open world is brimming with content.

    After all the hype surrounding Elden Ring (which I never bought or played because it just didn’t appeal to me as a world and visuals looked disappointing, and the gameplay far too hardcore), finally we have a game whose hype is actually justified.

    It reminds me of the first Fable game but is more free and open, richer and more rewarding. It’s like the Fable I’ve always wanted to play. I’m not really a massive Harry Potter fan, but you don’t need to be. Just play this to appreciate the artistry of the devs and their passion for the project.     Super happy with how this game turned out. It looks gorgeous on my Series X and LGC2. Story is good, exploration is on another level of fun. Would recommend 100%. PS I bought 3 copies. Doing my part to make the boycotters salty. One for me, one for the kid and one for a friend I owed a favor to. :D

    Hands down one of the best games I have played in years. The dedication of the developers to the world/lore is amazing, the graphics are phenomenal, and the story is excellently executed. If anything the only thing I would wish for is more of it!

    Although I feel like the game could have more overall scenario interaction, I'm very positively impressed by what they managed to do with the game and specially with the fighting mechanics. Excellent game!

    Absolutely excellent game. I haven't read the books since I was a young teenager, and was on the fence. But after seeing someone stream it, I had to dive in and - no regrets! Incredibly fun, exploring the castle is great

    Initially i thought of not buying since the studio included trans characters as a way to try to appease certain agenda groups (which were not appeased antway). In the end I bought it and enjoy playing, except the transvestite character parts (next time don't bend to anybody's pressure, write a story and stick to it).
    Great game overall though.

    Don't listen to reviews that's are based on anything but the game. I've completed this game with over 40 hours played and it's absolutely a game of year contender. Open world filler content is done perfect and Ubisoft could learn a lot . Story is good and combat is perfect. Secrets are great.try for yourself . Loved it.

    This game is magic! So cool to experience the world from a different time period. Combat is much better than I could imagine. Very little to complain about. PC needs work, though ps5 seems nearly flawless when it comes to performance. Hoping to see some good dlc and a sequel!

    I was debating between a 10 and a 9, but I decided to go with a 10 simply because this is the first game I have played in a long time that I felt was finished. I haven't had any game breaking bugs, only texture drops and weird physics after cutscenes. They put some love into the art direction of this game, and that beats a lot of the negatives imo. I literally lost myself exploring the castle, didn't know where I was, from where I came, but was a feeling of lost that I didn't experienced with a game for like 5 years.     My game of the year! The gameplay is fun, the story is really good, the characters are great, I really like the rpg elements. The gear grind gets a bit old, and the open world stuff does aswell. I'm not a big Harry Potter fan buy enough of one to where it spices up the open world enough so I'm not falling off of the game due to openworld fatigue.

Я принципиально против что бы ЛГБТ лезли в мою жизнь, что бы они диктовали разработчикам какие игры они должны делать, я против сцен однополой любви в играх, которые я играю. Почему меня и моих детей заставляют это смотреть? Я в таком случае хочу что бы на играх писали что есть сценыИгра просто шикарная.     If I could go 9.5 I would, I have a couple nitpicks and things I would have like to have seen like playable quidditch or wizards chess/ gobstones but overall this game is a masterpiece.

    This is the game every single Harry Potter fan deserved, we can finally immerse ourselves in a game and re-live the world of magic like we have dreamed about for years.

    I also want to add that J. K. Rowling is a great person and her opinion is perfectly healthy and I totally support her.

    An excellent arkham-like game, even if you are not a fan of the universe created by J.K. Rowling you'll enjoy this game, the world has complete fidelity to the universe of Harry Potter, every single location is perfectly recreated.

    We play a male/female character who first comes to Hogwarts in his 5th year. Here we quickly find out that we have access to "ancient magic" which lets us see things that others cannot. At the same time, an evil goblin named Ranrok is haunting the lands of Hogwarts. But I won't tell you more.

    Up to this point, the story is built on different strands, based on different characters. This means that only when we have made a certain progress with the main characters does the story progress.

    Now to the gameplay:

    Casting spells, flying, puzzling. And it's all damn good and coherent! Fluid combat system with many possible combinations and much more! Flying is also very fun. The puzzles are not very difficult, but can still be challenging.

    Graphics and map:

    Damn, this game looks fabulous! Beautifully animated and you can see how much love has gone into the details. The map is big, so you can be prepared for that. There is a lot to explore away from Hogwarts and Hogsmeade!

    About the soundtrack:

    Beautifully composed songs, which of course also include parts of the original Harry Potter music. A must for fans!

    Criticisms:

    1. Pre-set sentences repeat themselves very often. For example, our character says the same sentence over and over again when he enters Hogsmeade.

    2. The side missions are sometimes boring (very few). Find so and so many items. The typical open-world stuff that you can actually do without.

    But despite all that, that's not a point deduction for me. For me, it's a game that almost couldn't have been better.    … Expand

    Everything a potter fan could have asked for. Wonderful open world filled with the magical elements we hoped/loved, it's a teal pleasure to walk in the rooms and corridors of Hogwarts and watch all the details programmers have put in. GOTY !

    Amazing game. Combat is 10/10. Graphics are beautiful. Game runs smoothly. Story is interesting. The World and Hogwarts really makes you want to explore and discover new things. All in all, you really feel like you are a part of the wizarding world. Here and there are still some minor bugs, but they are easily overlooked and ignored.

    Ce jeu est parfait en tout point. Même pour les personnes qui ne sont pas fans de la licence. Perso je n'aime pas les films HP mais le jeu est prenant et on ne veut jamais en partir où presser d'y retourner.

    Simply gorgeous. Breath taking atmosphere, really feels like being inside the movies. Smooth and stimulating gameplay, the combat system is majestic!! People who gave it zero because it's not working on their device are lying like the ones who gave it zero because of politics against JK Rowling, you are just pathetic and dishonest.

    To put in simply, this game is gorgeous, amazing RPG with great character, nice storyline.I had absolutely zero expectations and I was blown away in the first hour. This is gonna keep me entertained for a loong time

    Extremely well developed game with combat full of depth.

    As a huge Harry Potter fan, this is the game I've always wanted, and they sure as hell delivered on this masterpiece.

    I've been gaming for over 20 years and I've never had a "favorite game" until now. Hogwarts legacy has become my all time favorite game, a dream come true and a game that is going to stay with me for the rest of my life. Everything is next to perfect. From the music, graphics, exploration, gameplay mechanics, story, etc. What a great time to be alive!

    El mejor RPG que verás hasta la fecha, y si eres fan de Harry Potter, ya lo flipas en colores. Muy recomendable, tanto si eres o no fan de la saga. Esta versión en concreto va de lujo, gráficos de ensueño, da gusto ver el castillo con esos reflejos y brillos gracias al Ray tracing

    One of the best games I’ve played in years. Right up there with BOTW. The attention to detail is amazing and there’s room for DLC’s which I hope come in short order to keep the momentum going.

    If you're into wanting more HP content after watching movies, reading books, then step into Hogwarts Legacy.
    This game is what any RPG fan of magic crave!
    I will leave it simply here, try the game, love it, enjoy it, live it up.
    I want more, more, more in this series. DLC(s), sequel(s).

    Absolutely enjoyed it since picking up the controller! Nice graphics, lore, and customization of characters (not bad). The fact it is open world is a plus and the combat isn't bad. Whether you a Harry Potter fan or not, this game is worth grabbing and enjoying hours upon hours of fun! You can also pick the house you want to be in- Team Slitherin!

Yes, just like every other open world RPG game it has a few glitches and bugs yet none of them are breaking your game.     It is an absolute joy to play. You are rewarded for every action playing this newly imagined exploratory game by WB Avalanche. There are good and bad people in power with opinions worse than the original author of this wizard world. Why not let the original author's opinion pass also.     Hogwarts Legacy is littered with small niggles which, when stacked together, make the game feel like it was released over a decade ago. While the castle is a large enough area to explore, the monotony of repeating quests and tasks makes the game feel last-generation and boring over time. Hogwarts Legacy could already use some DLC's in order to expand the size of the world, add more complex spells, and introduce a wider array of enemies. If you are a power-nerd looking for a new and complete RPG, you will have to wait for Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, coming in April 2023. While most critics agree that Hogwarts Legacy is near perfect, due to the incomplete feeling of the game and lack of a solid story arc, it feels more Muggle than magic.

    Hogwarts Legacy is an extremely fun adventure, despite having some graphic and narrative difficulties. In the vast open world, which makes it possible to explore popular locations and live like a typical Hogwarts student, you will face interesting challenges in the path of unraveling the main mystery of the game. Even though it's an exciting adventure, even a muggle like me manages, at a certain point, to miss a greater magic to deliver everything that the fans expected.
