    This game is a TRUE GEM..... Unique, and vastly creative, this is a survival game that really stands out. Exploring is rewarding, combat is interesting, and building bases is just amazing as you have to kill bugs to analyze their parts to create armor and weapons as well as develop new "technology" experience. On top of that you can find legendary or unique treasures in the world that makeThis game is a TRUE GEM..... Unique, and vastly creative, this is a survival game that really stands out. Exploring is rewarding, combat is interesting, and building bases is just amazing as you have to kill bugs to analyze their parts to create armor and weapons as well as develop new "technology" experience. On top of that you can find legendary or unique treasures in the world that make you more powerful and give you different "mutations" or perks. Me and a buddy of mine have been enjoying this game so much, and resource management is actually really fun as well. Building the perfect base of operations, planning your next attack into a spider den or other boss creature such as praying mantises makes you prepare accordingly, or you will certainly die. It's been such a blast playing this in co-op, but still great in single player. So many interesting locations, funny moments, and as a hoarder myself, I love stacking bases with large surpluses of supplies. If you go into this game blind, you will have an amazing sense of discovery and accomplishment as you uncover the mysteries of the back yard. The people leaving 0's for this game are likely SONY shills, and don't listen to any of those morons, this game is a real GEM for sure.… Expand

    I really like this game. It's hard enough to make it challenging without being impossible to do solo.

    The atmosphere of the game is great, and keeps it interesting.

    They also seem to be adding content steadily.

    A fun backyard survival game. All resources have importance as you try to complete objectives and learn more about the events of the game. I would recommend this game to anyone, and with the entry listed on game pass, it’s definitely worth the look.

    Grounded is incredibly fun with friends and very exhilarating when playing solo and fighting the game’s enemies is nerve racking. It’s near perfect but lacks some polish and has minor bugs (no pun intended) that drop it to a nine. I would highly recommend giving this game a go, especially if you can bring some friends along with you.     This is the best cooperative multiplayer game I have played with my friends. It is so unique in premise and the way the mechanics play. The world is super fun to explore and the difficulty always increases so that even when you have the best gear there is still some things that are challenging.     Honestly? Genuinely never had this much fun in a game. The entire thing,base building,characters,progression,is all done so well. You genuinely feel you're getting stronger as you're getting used to perfect blocks,getting better armor,new weapons,The fights are top notch too! If you have a 4 person friend group, it's definitely a must play.

    This is the only survival game that's ever hooked me, as it has fantastic exploration and a great story too. It's hard as hell solo, so I played on easy and it was more fun this way. The building and crafting is incredible as you can literally building structures anywhere and make some sick bases. Also, this is pretty much a horror game if you're afraid of spiders... No joke.     Grounded is an embodiment of what the triple AAA industry is lacking. Pure Creativity. Obsidian have successfully blended their renown RPG formula into a Subnautica-Esque survival game. It continues their legacy of excellent story tellers, as Grounded's charming story keeps me engrossed throughout and always has me thinking "What'll happen next?".

    But, where the game truly shines is it's unique setting. Grounded wouldn't be the same without this endearing sandbox. The backyard stands tall among all the other open worlds out there. The setting is booming with originality and imagination. It's clear the developers created this space with love. The world building and variety of environments makes exploring it a must. No matter what way you go, you'll always stumble upon something to do. Whether that be explore a hole in the soil, a lab filled with robots or simply question how a baseball ended up stuck in the soil. All of it adds to the incredibly designed world of the backyard.

    However, shying away from the whimsical and captivating side of the backyard, Grounded quickly becomes a fight for survival. As you trek across, bug infested terrain fearing what's around that blade of grass. Frightening, yet playful. Obsidian, cleverly, juxtaposes these two sides of the backyard. Making the space never feel old. The combat in grounded is also surprisingly more fleshed out than other survival games. Grounded includes a parry system that rewards players from blocking perfectly. It also becomes more tactical than expected, as you find yourself fighting off hordes of insects.

    A game that truly stands out from the rest, and undoubtedly flourishes in that pursuit.    … Expand

    Grounded is genuinely incredible. It's a lot like Ark but far less confusing and punishing for new players and the theme is so fun. There's a lot to do and I already know I'll be playing for years. I can't recommend it enough.

    Jeu de survie RPG très innovant avec de bonnes idées sur le gameplay.
    Presque tout ce qu'on peut ramasser est utilisable pour crafter son équipement.
    Graphiquement le jeu est juste magnifique.
    Le studio Obsidian prouve une fois de plus son haut niveau d'expertise.

    I had about 30 hours in to this game in preview and really enjoyed it.

    Just started on the full release and the changes from the preview are small but welcome. If you like survival games you can't go wrong here. Diverse biomes necessitateing connecting of different gear keep you exploring for materials. Building your homestead is fun, and the quests are not over bearing.     REALLY AWESOME holy **** Finally a great first party game from Xbox this year and it amazed me! Grounded's story and survival elements mixed with unique gameplay makes this one of the best survival games I have played in the last years. Also one of my favourite obisidan games only behind fallout new vegas. Amazing price aswell and day one on game pass

    for years I have hated what xbox has done, but I must admit that grounded is a great game, a concept that is not new but if carried out in a good way they make this game an excellent adventure, you do not need a story to know what to do, I hope some day that play takes out a game of this type in its catalog

    Wow, just wow! It's insane how far this game has come since the early access, it's like a whole new game and it's so addictive and beautiful in so many ways, it makes the survival element in games fun again and from a new perspective. Absolutely love it

    I played the game a lot when I was in the previous game it was very raw but always had a great idea as no one thought of a game based on that and the survival mechanics fit well in the game, I still haven't started playing the final version, I think about what the Obsidian has to offer this game with new content because with this theme there is a huge tree of possibilities.

Nun mit der Vollversion bin ich komplett eingestiegen. Besonders das Setting hat mir super gefallen. Auch erwähnenswert ist, dass die Spinnen einfach echt EKLIG sind. WAHNSINN! Einfach nur gut!

    Bad mechanics, bugs after Bugs, week resolution, and the worst part is the "story"!!
    They need much more time to finish this game!

    El juego es súper divertido. Cualquiera que pueda jugarlo con un amigo, va a experimentar lo que es divertirse realmente con un juego.

    Jogo muito bom, fui jogar sem muita pretensão e me surpreendeu. Adorei principalmente temática do game (os personagens são encolhidos e tem que sobreviver no jardim) que muito pouca explorada na indústria.

    Les graphismes sont du type indé, c’est-à-dire peu engageants et simplets… et puis surtout, oui surtout, malgré un filtre anti-araignées, ce jeu au ras des pâquerettes -et plus bas encore- est bourré de plantes et d’insectes crabeurks ! c’est donc cracra et très beurk à la fois, c’est crabeurk putain !

    Et j’ai vu dans les recettes qu’on peut bouffer… des saloperies d’insectes ! crabeurk dégueulasse, putain ! nan mais merde… quel saloperie de jeu de merde débectant ! aussitôt lancé, aussitôt déinstallé.    … Expand

    el juego es espectacular, desde prey, no venia un despliegue de creatividad, tan grande como grounded, su estetica 80entera, sus mecanicas de superviviencia, su arte, su graficos tan bonitos, sus quest, el diseño de su mundo, la credibilidad de su mundo, el carisma de sus personajes y sus dialogos, hay tanto amor en este juego que no puedo explicarlo, top 3 juegos de la historia.

    I have loved this game when it was in early aches and really enjoy to play the full version now A interesting story great Bosses especially the story necessary bosses New bugs, new armor, new weapons.
    My personal game of the year the them of obsidian did amazing work and I can absolutely recommend this game.

    Es uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado, vi su evolución durante estos años y se convirtió en un excelente juego con mecánicas RPG de supervivencia. Esperamos ver mucho más de contenido en el futuro cercano y nunca dejar de lado a la comunidad que sigue aportando al juego.

    Grounded is a fun survival game for all the family. Progression through the game unlocks different weapons, armour and building materials. One of the best 4 player games I've played in years. The shared save, meaning any of the players added to the your world, can play as host is a brilliant addition to the game. Thoroughly recommend this game.

    Wow. I haven't enjoyed a game so much in a long time. It's an Ark survival clone without the PvP. It's adapted to play as a co op multiplayer with friends and it works really well. There should be at least a online PvE mode in my opinion. I score this game a solid 8 out of 10.

    Even though it is nothing innovative in the survival genre, I respect the story and creativity from the small team over at obsidian who made this game. I have enjoyed the short story and gameplay of this game and hope to see more content updates or DLC in the future.

    It's come along massivly since launch, the content they add and the way the world feels alive and reacts to you is pretty incredible. .. could have made a Great MMO sort of Ark/Rust/Dayz style though. Atleast have it 10/15 player servers

    O jogo é incrível, minha única crítica é que eu acredito que deveria ter sido dublado para o português brasileiro, desse modo ele se tornaria o jogo perfeito pra mim. Mas apesar disso, acho que ele merece a nota máxima. A Obsidian fez um ótimo trabalho aqui e espero que eles façam uma continuação ainda mais espetacular desse jogo.

    Very fun cooperative survival game. I like visuals, I played this with a friend and the progression feels really satisfying. Moreover the story is a little funny

    One of the best survival games that I ever played. I am really not into survival games but I tried it as its part of gamepass. I am really really glad that I tried it. Recommend it.

    I've spent a lot of hours on Grounded since it appeared in Game Pass.

    The graphics are well made, but a little too childish. The music is also rather bland and passable. On the other hand the gameplay is interesting, the depth and the quantity of content is just huge, the missions are very interesting and stand out enough to avoid being repetitive.     On the other hand the gameplay is interesting, the depth and the quantity of content is just huge, the missions are very interesting and stand out enough to avoid being repetitive.

    The survival aspect is sufficiently complex, without taking up all the space and is very well balanced.

    After a hundred hours of play, I haven't experienced any outrageously unpleasant bugs, except for an area where the drops of water remain suspended in the air after if the plants that holds them are cut down.    … Expand

    Original and fun! Vibrant and beautiful, while at times terrifying and stressful! Great for family co-op. Survival mechanics can be tuned to your liking, creating a custom experience ranging from completely casual to grueling.

    As someone who loves survival games this one might be the best one I've ever played. Environment is beautiful, varied, and ironically MASSIVE. A year after starting I'm still discovering new areas/bosses. There has to be 50 different bugs that make this game feel real. Much like how Subnautica gave me thalassophobia, this game gives me arachnophobia.     Now in my opinion the most important question to judge survival games is "how cozy can you make your base?" Theres no electricity in this game but outside of that it pretty much has everything you could ask for: bug head candles, berry leather recliners, armor/weapon displays - a little light on traps as of now but no big complaints at all. Also each piece of furniture has a cozyness rating that'll give you a buff after sleeping there, so the devs at least partially agree with me.

    Amazing all around and if you love survival games this is a must buy - period.    … Expand

    Uno de mis videojuegos favoritos, la ambientación, la historia, el soundtrack, los crafteos y los jefes, todo me parece que está muy bien echo, claro no se salva de pequeños defectos clásicos de los juegos de supervivencia pero aún así es de mis videojuegos favoritos, a la fecha lo sigo disfrutando mucho y con cada actualización se pone mejor.

    Great game with a surprisingly welcoming looks that makes me even as someone who doesn't like survival game really fall in love with it ( i found the idea of someone dying because he needs to eat or drink water stupid i mean that can't be realistic right)

    Artistically beautifull, Grounded is a awesome survival game, with very nice housing mechanics. No microtransaction in game, constantly updated by Obsidian. For me it's been a drug.

    Bien bien optimizado, gran trabajo de Obsidian! La historia y su trasfondo son son geniales, jugablemente es adictivo y bastante difícil lo que lo hace perfecto para su genero, gráficamente muy bien logrado, buenisimas mecánicas!

    Though it finished with a thud, Grounded still stands with the greats of the genre, like Subnautica or The Forest. It just oozes confidence in its theme, and successfully pulls off the feeling of wonder Honey I Shrunk The Kids gave me when I first saw it almost 30 years ago.

    Ultimately, how much you enjoy Grounded is going to depend on how you play and if you choose to enable any of the customization options. In the default state, if you're looking to adventure through the story, you'll have a fun time, but Grounded is at its best when played as a survival sim. Focus on exploring the world, and let the story happen in the background. It may be a slower pace, but it's also more rewarding.

    Much like the protagonists, Grounded sees Obsidian heading into new brand new territory that’s still familiar in some ways, and their expedition ends up paying off big-time. Excelling as a survival game with a nice and meaty challenge, an adventure game with a lot of secrets and goods to hunt for and a highly-enjoyable story, and a visual spectacle as you wander around and take in the eye-popping sights of now-majestic backyard clutter (and the more frightening sights of the impressive and imposing insects), this is one trip that’s tiny yet epic at the same time and is not to be missed out on.
