    playing this now in sept 2023, well not sure how bad it was when released, but I am enjoying it, I've seen very minor glitching like body armor dissappear when u get very close to it but nothing else besides that so, I completed Vice City didn't see any bugs, 10 hours into San Andreas and no bugs or weird things so it's an 8 for me I plan on finishing the whole Trilogy if anything changesplaying this now in sept 2023, well not sure how bad it was when released, but I am enjoying it, I've seen very minor glitching like body armor dissappear when u get very close to it but nothing else besides that so, I completed Vice City didn't see any bugs, 10 hours into San Andreas and no bugs or weird things so it's an 8 for me I plan on finishing the whole Trilogy if anything changes I will update my score but for now it's a SOLID 8!!!… Expand

    Here we go again. even if the game was very buggy and I mean buggy the game had fun aspects and I loved playing the games I grew up too.

    I understand all the bad reviews for Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing all of my childhood classics on the current generation of consoles. Not much new content, partially ugly graphics and some songs of the classic games are missing. But the missions and style of the three games are undefeated. If you never played the first three 3D GTAI understand all the bad reviews for Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing all of my childhood classics on the current generation of consoles. Not much new content, partially ugly graphics and some songs of the classic games are missing.     Gta Definitive Edition, now many things are improved than it was from the start of the game, personally I like this trilogy now, I'am playing this game with my friend Milorad now, If you ask me is this worth to buy, It's not that bad, for me It is!!!

    I want to clarify that I've never played Gta3/ViceCity/SanAndreas before, so I don't have any comparision expierience.

    Definitive Edition was a ton of fun for me. I really enjoyed all these 3 games. Didn't have any bugs/problems with Gta 3 or Vice City. Had some minor graphics issues in San Andreas but it didn't influence any gameplay problems.     I don't quite understand the the low scores. this game is exactly what the community was asking for. I saw no glitches whatsoever and the game play felt miles better on console compared to my phone. so yeah If you like grand theft auto get this over gta unexpaned and unenhanced version

    The game feel really out dated and are not very fun to play I thought I might be good to try them out I’ve never played them before they are awful San Andreas definitely feels better then the other two I can’t believe rock star would sell them it felt like a waste of money they really need to be remade fro, the ground up not remastered

    10/10 it's that simple. 3 games in one disc is amazing... the mechanics on each game is fantastic, the graphics have improved dramatically, the physics of the player/character is cool, I've only encountered a problem once on the GTA San Andreas, other than that, I've not encountered a problem on the other 2 games... it's easily one of the best remasters I've ever played.

    This is literally the worst remaster I've ever played. Bad controls that make the gameplay unnecessarily difficult, bad save points, character models that have not been updated and game breaking bugs that prevent you from finishing the game at all.

    GTA 3 is my #6 top game of all time! This is the game that started it all in 3d open world play. The game is really fun to go back to after many years away from it. It still holds up in 2021 as a playable experience. The missions are fun- and many are pretty short at the beginning. Several missions are pretty challenging. Overall it’s great to cause havoc in Liberty City! The DefinitiveGTA 3 is my #6 top game of all time! This is the game that started it all in 3d open world play. The game is really fun to go back to after many years away from it. It still holds up in 2021 as a playable experience. The missions are fun- and many are pretty short at the beginning. Several missions are pretty challenging. Overall it’s great to cause havoc in Liberty City! The Definitive Edition has taken some hits for its initial state. I played it after patches- and I only saw one floating car & one floating lamp post. There were also some pretty wild looking pedestrians in the game. There were no other glitches that I experienced. I’m glad I bought this and played it again. I will definitely play it again sometime in the future.

    GTA Vice City Definitive Edition- 12/24/21

    GTA 3 is my #6 top game of all time! But I really debated between that & Vice City. This game is really my favorite GTA game. It’s aesthetics of the 1980s Miami are outstanding. It has my favorite soundtrack of any game ever. It also has perhaps the best voice cast of all time. It’s been a long time since I played it. Something that stood out is that the map is really quite small compared to today’s open world games. I can see why this was originally an expansion for GTA 3. But I love playing as Tommy Versetti. I really hope the rumors are true that GTA 6 might be partly set back in Vice City. I really didn’t see any glitches in the Definitive Edition- except some wild looking pedestrians. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to meet certain requirements to open up the last mission. I don’t like to have to grind just to be able to finish a game. Overall, it was a great experience to go back to. Definitely still enjoyable in 2021. I will play it again sometime in the future.    … Expand

    Super cool de replonger dans ces jeux mythiques, malheureusement l'aventure et un peu triste, avec ces nombreux bugs est ces défauts de portage de mobile vers console et pc de plus, ça fait mal de voir que san andreas et plus jolis sur mobile que sur next gen. Sinon, quel plaisir. Ça n'en reste pas moins qu'un remasterd serte chère.

    The truth is not as bad as they say I have several funny clips of bugs but I feel that it is in a certain part funny that if the driving is horrible with the slightest curve the car slides through MAP AND MIDDLE and the posts seem to be made of kevlar together with many things without collision and funny abuses

    This game is a masterpiece even though yeah a bit of a mess too with technical issues from the originals too it's should be renamed Grand Theft Awful Trilogy Tea Dark Elliance after all the ratings on PC+PS5+XSX also similar to 2021 DND Dark Alliance.

    Diablos simplemente para lo que ofrece deberia de costar 30 usd, definitivamente no vale el precio actual que tiene, los mods de pc de la trilogia original son muchisimo mejores, mi recomendacion es no comprarlo hasta que lo mejoren o baje a 30 usd.

    This remaster is a joke and just a cash grab. Doing the bare minimum and stíl made a 20 year old game worse on modern consolse. The fact they hid the gameplay before launch and took down the old versions to charge full price was two fingers to consumers.

    Listen, this is not going to be a great port by all means, but lighten up, people! This is a brand new way to experience these classic games on modern consoles, and a decent one too. But I have encountered bugs myself, not LOTS like others, but a few. Most notably being the barrier on the map and kinda bad rain effects. These and the holes in parts of the maps.     In conclusion, is it worth the $60 USD price tag? No, it should be bumped down to at least $45 to $30. But this is still a fine way to experience the games for replay value, or for your first journey. Admittedly, it is a semi-disappointing port, but still good for first timers.    … Expand

Only, they did not want to put in any real efforts and to make matters worse, they banned the modding community before doing so. A community that loved GTA so much that they put in a thousandfold more hours compared to what Rockstar devs were allowed to make. The rest is history.

    This was just a lazy cash grab. 60 dollars for 3 twenty year old games that perform and look worse then they were on the Playstation 2. Rockstar should be held accountable for this scam but its reality, and they won't. So people should stop buying their games, but they won't.

    Lighting issues, poor rendering, rain effect, and character models are often made to memes about this game, but the glitches, checkpoint AI really make this game bad. Do not waste your money on this game, find a copy of San Andreas or something for Xbox 360 and play it on your Xbox one

    Censorship, leave that **** for the Nintendo Switch ports
    Rockstar Launcher which you must ALWAYS be connected to play the games
    Missing features in the games including Gta 3's classic camera and San Andrea's Co-op mode
    20 Missing Songs, Including Michael Jackson
    $60 **** Dollars
    Original Games Removed from Steam (And are now on Rockstar Launcher)
    Horrible FPS and Buggy gameplay

    In conclusion: I'm super disappointed in rockstar. These guys made Warriors, Manhunt 1 & 2, Bully, and Red Dead Redemption for god's sake. Don't pay sixty for this **** until they at least make it a more stable port than the old steam games. This is the "Defintiive" edition and in my opinion? This is the false advertising version.

    This comeback of the three GTA classics feels superficial and poorly optimized, although some improvements are clearly visible. It's not the remaster we were hoping for, but these are still immortal classics that can still entertain and sometimes even amaze. And sometimes that's all we need.
