Nov 18, 2024Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is a fun open-world driving experience. I liked the varied biomes and the crew system. Moreover, the freedom to explore makes this a moreish game. Though the sideways step will disappoint hardcore fans, I think this is a great addition to the franchise.

Mar 25, 2024The scientific tasks at your destination really aren’t that interesting. Instead, the heart of the game lies in the methodical, even calming pursuit of a distant waypoint. There’s a soothing peace here out in the beautiful wilderness, even amid the roar of the engine, the shrill whine of the gears and the soft cursing as you get bogged down in yet another puddle of ooze.

It's not perfect and suited to everyone, and it has some major limitations, but it remains recommended for anyone eager for discovery and planning that seeks a vast, challenging but also relaxing experience.
