    I love it! Super fun gameplay, amazing graphics, music is great. This is exactly what i was hoping for.

    This game have great storytelling, great gameplay, great graphics. Only thing that is wrong with it on the Xbox Series S version is that the game runs at 30 frames per second.

    Great Game ! Coop Modus is insane and funny. I hope that will be more games to Came like this.

    One of the most repetitive games that i have ever played! The combat is initially fun but becomes very boring over the course of the game. The lack of weapons and customization really holds this game back. With all the trailers and footage I was expecting a spectacular story mode and this game just doesn't provide that at all. The boss fights are great to start but then you begin to fightOne of the most repetitive games that i have ever played!     Decent game. Not much thinking required. Combat is really fan and the whole vampire/zombie-like story is a nice take on wild west

    Can't say anything good about how this game runs on XBSX. Frame rate drops, stuttering, screen tearing, and the gamma is terrible. You can have your TV's visual settings just how you like it, and this game looks terrible on the Series X.

    it feels like an 80s kind of mood: Not woke, simple yet likable characters, simple and straightforward story.

    It’s not a revolution but it delivers.

    The game can feel a bit hard until it finally clicks (around mid-game for me) but once it does, it’s satisfying.

    Bosses can be a bit long but, really, the game is worth a shot.

    This is a throwback title to the past when games were just games and fun to play. No Woke BS, No political agenda, just good old fashioned gaming. The combat is AWESOME! I'd say it's a mix between Gears Of War and God Of War with Vampires. So if you like pulpy grindhouse horror action then I know you'll enjoy this game. Thank you Flying Wild Hog. 9 out of 10

    I’m not sure what everyone see’s in this game. Where to start? Once you get past the beat em up vampire fun that lasts for the best part of 15 minutes. You see this for what it really is, an Xbox 360 esque jank fest. The graphics and animations are outdated. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and frustrating. Clunky controls, movement and combat will frustrate you to no end. The storyI’m not sure what everyone see’s in this game. Where to start? Once you get past the beat em up vampire fun that lasts for the best part of 15 minutes. You see this for what it really is, an Xbox 360 esque jank fest. The graphics and animations are outdated. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and frustrating. Clunky controls, movement and combat will frustrate you to no end. The story isn’t much to go by, with forgetful and annoying characters. The levels are dragged out, making you repeat yourself countless times before finally putting this mess to bed. Coop is a whole mess in itself. Buttons and prompts that don’t work when you really need them to. Two characters who could’ve worked instead they just duplicate the main guy. Avoid at all costs, even if it’s free. Play or do anything else. I finished this game so you don’t have to.… Expand

I truly enjoyed my time blasting vamps with the revolver, using them as punching bags and quick shooting weak points. The combat gameplay is what really makes Evil West special, the fast paced and challenging arena style fights. Also all of the weapons are just fun to use. As for the story, it’s not Oscar winning material but it does a good job of setting up the protagonists and antagonists. Though the characters are flawed they’re still likable. The level design was good though very bare, each level environment was different. Finally the progression of Jesse’s skills and weapons was perfect, throughout your leveling up and becoming more and more powerful all the way up to the end. I will say that I was disappointed with the ending, after killing the final boss there’s a cut scene and it’s all over. But for me Evil West was just what we as gamers needed. It’s simplicity is its greatest strength.… Expand

    What a great game! Loved it from the start to the end. We need definitely more games like that. Great combat system with a lot of different weapons.

    Gute Steuerung, gute Prügelszenen… und tolles Filmmaterial…. Alles in allem ein würdiges Spiel mal wieder. Selbst als Vampir hasser oder Western verachter hat mich das Spiel angezogen und begeistert.

    Evil West is very fun, mainly due to the combat mechanics. While playing New Game+ that's where this game really gets good with all the unlocks. The boss battles kind of missed the mark, primarily because of all the ranged minions. So Xbox One can not play with Xbox one Series S/X it’s an Xbox on a Microsoft platform. That’s not cross platform at all. Could understand Xbox not being able to play with PlayStation but for real Xbox One, PC (Microsoft evil west) version, and Xbox Series S/X can’t play with each other? What’s the point of buying a Series X/S game that’s backwards compatible and runs on Xbox one if you can’t even play together..get real you guys suck.… Expand

    Straight forward, no super complicated RPG elements. Awesomely satisfying Doomish combat. Very impressive settings which set a wonderful Wild West tone. This is a great starting point for this IP. I can see this going open world or otherwise more complex in future installments. Can’t wait to see where they take it from here.

    At its best, Evil West is a fun vampire smashing romp. At its worst, it’s a janky, repetitive mess that is loaded with invisible walls and monotonous “puzzles” that do little more than pad the run time. Worth picking up on a discount but would suggest a full price purchase.

    There is something old fashioned about Evil West, in many ways. It’s linear narrative, brutal combat and simple dialogue - all remind me of the Xbox 360 era, and this isn’t a bad thing by any means. Sometimes you don’t need all the best graphics, or an open world with a million tasks and quests, because sometimes you just want to beat bad guys up. Evil West gave me that, and cowboys and vampires too.

    The variety in areas and monsters are its strong points, with the combat offering good fun with controversial choices. Its big problem is the lack of rhythm in its gameplay, as a result of which the title passes as an indifferent "binge watch" for the weekend.
