    Ed-0: Zombie Uprising is a nice time killer if you want to play something to take the edge off. The replayability is insane as you can up the difficulty in the dungeons if you want more of a challenge. Sure the zombie slaughter may not be something to scream to the hills about, but it is definitely worth mentioning to a friend or two that love the hack n slash genre.

    At best, Ed-0: Zombie Uprising recalls those wonderfully offbeat PlayStation 2 titles that would intermittently emerge from Japan. Unapologetically janky, this is the interactive equivalent of a pulpy B-movie, with ambitions that obviously outstrip the game’s budget.

    Ed-0: Zombie Uprising is built on sound ideas and there’s so much to love about the setup. However, the brutal, inconsistent difficulty coupled with the repetitive, imbalanced gameplay prevents it from reaching full potential.

    You’re going to die a lot, and in the beginning it’s going to feel unfair, especially when you starve to death. You’ll eventually learn all of its quirks and how to circumvent many of its ‘unfairness’, but I found I had to focus on doing that more so than simply enjoying a mindless zombie slasher. Ed-0: Zombie Uprising has a long grind to strive towards, but it’s monotonous and feels like a very low budget title, even if there are brief moments of fun here and there.

    Ed-0: Zombie Uprising es un juego divertido que pierde esa chispa demasiado rápido debido a sus mecánicas y balance general. El título seEd-0: Zombie Uprising es un juego divertido que pierde esa chispa demasiado rápido debido a sus mecánicas y balance general. El título se vuelve muy repetitivo al utilizar las mismas estrategias con los enemigos y por la estructura de las misiones. A eso hay que sumarle una historia que se queda corta y unos apartados visuales y de sonido que apenas cumplen. Si eres fan del género roguelite y puedes digerir lo repetitivo entonces podría decir que le des una oportunidad, al final del día, la temática de zombies en un Japón antiguo llama la atención.
