    Xbox you are the best! You should pick Dodgeball academia for the entire live in Xbox Gamepass.. I mean, it was a huge surprise... I was searching something to play with some friends.... it's for one player but we share the controller and was really cool! The Vs mode remind us the NeoGeo Arcade games we played a lot!

    Thanks to the SUPER RAD devs of Dodgeball Academia!
    It was really fun to follow OTTO in his journey. I think you could work better in some story points and maybe create more quests, but I understand this is an Indie.
    I hope u can make a lot of money to make a sequence!

    The artstyle is very Cartoonish! It was really cool to see every movement.

    This game is gorgeous! There are a lot of animations and wonderfull things!
    Mix RPG and Sport... specially Dodgeball is a great idea... I'm addicted of big games and AAA but it was a great surprise! Otto is the best main Character of the year!
    Oh an sure I love animes and some lines was really fun to read.

    I've been playing Dodgeball Academia this weekend and it has surprised me how much fun I'm having with it. I played it on Xbox Game Pass on a whim, but after a few hours I bought it on the Switch to play it portably (without using the cloud) and have been enjoying it even more.

    It's a 2.5D Dodgeball RPG that's very reminiscent of the GBA versions of Mario Tennis/Golf in formula but with a    I've been playing Dodgeball Academia this weekend and it has surprised me how much fun I'm having with it. I played it on Xbox Game Pass on a whim, but after a few hours I bought it on the Switch to play it portably (without using the cloud) and have been enjoying it even more.

    It's a 2.5D Dodgeball RPG that's very reminiscent of the GBA versions of Mario Tennis/Golf in formula but with a lot more story/dialogue like Golf Story. Definitely not as comedic and witty as GS but there are some funny and charming moments in it. It feels like a Saturday morning cartoon/anime with its art style kinda reminiscent of OK K.O. It also has a lot of elements from Pokémon and parodies it often with a rival character that keeps coming back to challenge you, random kids who will run to you when you pass them to force you into a match etc. The music is also pretty similar in a good way.

    Gameplay is really fun and challenging at times. As far as I've been playing you slowly get introduced to new mechanics that make the game more fun and adds depth to the matches. You play with different characters who all have unique abilities with their Charge Throw, Focus ability and Balltimate but the opponents also have unique abilities too and that makes each match feel different (besides the fodder side quest characters).

    The RPG elements are great too as you gain XP and level up, boost stats with items, choose equipment that further enhances your stats etc. There's a lot to this game that keeps the game fresh and keeps you wanting more. You'll find a lot of these items running around the map and finding chests and boxes that are hidden or just laying around.

    All in all, the 7 or so hours I've played so far have been a blast and if you're a fan of the games I mentioned above like I am, this game tends to tick most of the boxes that made me fall in love with those games. I can't recommend it enough.    … Expand

    Super fun game by humble bundle games. Really addictive fun and free with gamepass cant go wrong with this indie title.

    Someone said about this game "if you hate this game you hate fun". And this describes it perfectly. The game is incredibly fun. There are so many charming and likeable characters, the art design is fantastic. It feels like playing a Cartoon Network Cartoon. On top of that the whole game is such a brilliant parody of anime like JRPGs and Shounen Anime. There's constantly stuff that makesSomeone said about this game "if you hate this game you hate fun". And this describes it perfectly. The game is incredibly fun. There are so many charming and likeable characters, the art design is fantastic. It feels like playing a Cartoon Network Cartoon. On top of that the whole game is such a brilliant parody of anime like JRPGs and Shounen Anime. There's constantly stuff that makes fun of these, but in a really funny and charming way. It's basically a JRPG that makes fun of JRPGs.
    My only complaint is that it's really short. It can be finished in around 10 hours.
    But in the end it's definitely one of the best games this year and the developers better make Dodgeball Academia 2 as soon as they can.    … Expand

    Os jogos brasileiros estão no caminho certo. Jogo muito bom, engraçado, cheio de gírias que nós falamos, uma boa trilha sonora e gráficos bons. Porém, lá para o final do jogo o combate estava muito repetitivo e quase até chato, ainda bem que o jogo é curto. Esperando a sequência que eu sei que vai ter. ID jogada: Juliano#7803

    Is it the best game no, did I play this a bunch and enjoy it yes. Reminded me of a Gameboy game. Great for playing on phone if you are looking to give that a shot. If you like old school Pokemon and that style Gameboy games give it a go.

    A great game. Very funny. Lots of humor (specially in the PT-BR version). Some may find it be a little repetitive, but all sports game are, right? If you have game pass, you should download and play it right now. If you don't, consider buying it - it will be worthwhile.

    Dodgeball Academia hits you with vibrant, fun characters, quirky one liners, and gameplay that is almost perfectly crafted around this favorite childhood pastime. It’s wild no one has thought to make this earlier, but it’s great Pocket Trap did with the artistic direction of Ivan Freire.

    I may have some minor quibbles here and there about certain courts or reused environments, but at the end of the day, Dodgeball Academia is a champion in its field. It provides the best parts of sports RPGs with cheeky characters, flashy special moves, and gameplay that’s fun to master. Better yet, the package is enhanced by a killer soundtrack. Look no further than this gem if you want to have a great time for a dozen hours.
