    Deathloop’s debut on the Xbox Series X is equally as good as it was on the PlayStation 5. You get the same great story and the same perfect gameplay experience. Choose one and enjoy.

    Get busy unlocking new powers, blinking in behind bad guys, stabbing and shooting and skulking around, scouring environments for clues, choosing which lead to follow next as you push and pull and probe every corner, every wrinkle of this labyrinthian puzzle box. And it's on Game Pass too? You're spoiling us, Microsoft.

    There’s a lot to love about DEATHLOOP, from the characters, the powers, and a story that is just asking to be made into a movie. There are some audio hiccups that hurt the experience, but they are easily overlooked because the rest of the package is extremely entertaining. I put just under 40 hours into DEATHLOOP before I rolled the credits and I plan on going back to knock out some achievements and side quests. I am very excited to see what the team at Arkane is putting together for us early next year with Redfall. DEATHLOOP is and will always be a part of Gamepass, the best value in gaming today and it should not be missed or passed up. Play this game!

    Deathloop remains Arkane’s best work, and it’s fantastic that Xbox players can finally get in on Cole’s deadly groundhog day. Its unique structure and sheer scope, coupled with the signature Arkane gameplay that has been polished to within an inch of its life, feels like the work of a developer finally fully realizing a vision that began many years ago with the original Dishonored.

    The game plays so much better on Xbox than Playstation. Deathloop just plays incredibly well on Xbox. Xbox Game Studios are just awesome.

    Great game. Great performance. You can barely see a fps drop or any pixelation issue. Super fun to play. Recommended.

The entry point is steep and game floods you with information and new mechanics in an abrupt way initially. It's not as easy to pick-up as most other games, even Prey. However, once you get over introductory couple of hours, it's a lot of fun. I think this is the reason for low user scores - most people will give up and go back to CoD.

    I didn't read a lot about the game except for a couple of trailers and was surprised it's closed environment. I was expecting an open-world and was pleasantly surprised it was not. The maps are chuck-full of stuff to do and discover with a lot of secrets. The gun-play and powers are fun. The interactions between Julianna and Colt are absolutely superb and drive this game.

    This game could have been an 8 or 9 if it had:
    - smoother introduction
    - supported quick resume
    - all those cool trailer songs incorporated into the game (main menu for example)
    - more Juliana and Colt interactions throughout the game
    - more guns! they're fun but playing the game for over 30 hours they grow old on you
    - more weapon and character mods! even more insane ones

    I was surprised how much fun I had playing the game. Mechanically it's lots of fun. I'd definitely replay it. Not as good as Prey which I consider masterpiece, but also a very solid game    … Expand

Wow… well i mean if you like games with “worse than” 360 or ps3 level shooter mechanics- this is the game for you. I actually dont understand the reviews. This game was pretty terrible tbh. Couldnt really find anything redeeming about it. Enemy Ai was awful. Main characters themselves were ok but with how bad the gameplay was i couldnt stick around long enough to find out.… Expand
