    DO NOT waste your time playing this game! Playing it (either on Xbox One or Series X) IS A NIGHTMARE! Multiplayer (which is for the achievements) is glitchy, the Operation Catalyst campaign is laughably bad, and no good modes to play NOT even at all.

    Welp. This is definitely not a next-gen game. I didn't even bother to try multiplayer, the campaign feels clanky and Xbox 360-like. It gets a bit better while progressing but still underwhelming. Not a lot of sense to review the soon-to-be-dead game, not sure why they don't separate the campaign and leave it in the store for a few bucks. Surely a skippable experience.

Начну с того, что играл я в пастгенную версию, поскольку у меня уже есть игровой PC и покупать Xbox Series пока что я не вижу смысла.     Что ж, впечатления от компании у меня остались, мягко говоря, не очень. Начну с того, что играл я в пастгенную версию, поскольку у меня уже есть игровой PC и покупать Xbox Series пока что я не вижу смысла. И если картинка с Series X на Ютубе смотрелась приятно, то пасген выглядит прям очень скверно: не прогружающиеся текстуры и объекты на каждом шагу, шлейфы за движущимися людьми, лесенки, убогие тени, странное свечение поверхностей и прочие графические артефакты. Не добавляет очков визуалу и работа дизайнеров окружения: в первой компании она не блещет.

    С геймплеем тоже не все ладно. Чувствительность стиков максимально всратая, изначально она слишком высока, причем вертикальная чувствительность заметно ниже горизонтальной, но если вертикальную и горизонтальную чувствительность еще можно подкрутить, то чувствительность по диагонали настроить под себя не удается. Сюда же можно добавить и ужасно кривое, дерганное слоу мо: пока ты прицеливаешся время идет медленно, но как только ты начинаешь стрелять — время резко ускоряется, а чувствительность повышается. Зачем это было сделано совершенно непонятно, но целиться из-за этого становится еще более неудобно (хотя, казалось бы, куда уж еще). Как такое вообще могли пропустить в релиз — совершенно непонятно, Ремеди на играбельность своего детища просто болтяру положили. Есть претензии и к арсеналу: ничего необычного в нем нет, пушки одного типа стреляют почти одинакого, импакта не чувствуется, а дробовик не убивает с выстрела в упор противника без брони.

    Не блещет и сюжет: он туп и полон клише, диалоги нелепы , катсцены неказисты. Правда, во второй кампании дела обстоят чуть лучше: режиссуру роликов и дизайн окружения заметно прокачали, добавили пару новых стволов, да и к управлению за пару часов худо-бедно приноравливаешься, из-за чего происходящее начинает выглядеть несколько бодрее. Правда, самые критичные косяки никуда не исчезают и все равно мешают наслаждаться игровым процессом. Можно было бы покритиковать и продолжительность игры, ведь обе компании проходятся от силы часа за четыре часа, но в данном случае я сомневаюсь, что это минус.

    Потенциал сделать удобоваримый аналог Call of Duty был, но он оказался благополучно просран благодаря нежеланию разработчиков приложить хотя бы минимальные усилия к полировке и оптимизации своего творения. Не скажу, что это худшая игра в которую я когда либо играл, благодаря разным подпискам, бандлам и раздачам на Steamgifts я повидал немало дерьма. Но это определенно худшая игра на которую я потратил деньги за последние лет десять.    … Expand

    CrossfireX isn't half as bad as people act. It has a lot of room for improvement, but it's still fun and it's also free so you're not wasting any money on it. If it were $70, I'd be a lot more negative here though lol. It's worth a try but you may want to go into the shooting range and change your setting a little.

    What can I say this game is just poor fun, the campaign remind of the good old Cod days Just with Remedy Touches we always love.

    The multiplayer had alot of problems at launch but after the last update it's a different case,
    Still not alot of modes or maps but I think the fun is what gonna make you stay so try and bring friends.

    I have no idea WHY they even wanted to port this multiplayer game from PC to Xbox. Thankfully, the single player campaign is very good.

    This game is a terrible mess. CrossFireX is completely unplayable. When i loaded into a lobby i noticed that almost the entire game was ripped from CSGO right down to the gameplay. The game is a glitchy mess where when you load into a lobby you will spectate your teammates and see them run in place as their models are still moving around the map, this was pretty jarring but after noticingThis game is a terrible mess. The game is a glitchy mess where when you load into a lobby you will spectate your teammates and see them run in place as their models are still moving around the map, this was pretty jarring but after noticing how similar it was to CSGO i was actually pretty excited to play, but when i got to play a match I tried out my assult rifle on the nearest wall to check how bad the spray was (since i noticed my teammates were missing every single shot) and i found that the impact was almost touching the ceiling of the room I was in.     No esperaba gran cosa de este juego tras haber jugado a la beta y aún así me ha decepcionado. Corto en contenido y control poco preciso. Se salva por algún detalle de originalidad en sus escasos modos de juego.

    Fazit: Das Spiel, spielt sich wie man es von einem Call of Duty klon erwartet, zwar kann es mit dem großen Konkurrenten nicht mithalten, ist aber dennoch besser als sein Ruf. Die Kampagne    Remedy Entertainment das großartige Entwicklerstudio, das uns Max Payne, Alan Wakeund Quantum Break gegeben hat. Wagt sich zusammen mit Microsoft Studios mit CrossfireX in das Egoshooter Genre.


    Fazit:
    Das Spiel, spielt sich wie man es von einem Call of Duty klon erwartet, zwar kann es mit dem großen Konkurrenten nicht mithalten, ist aber dennoch besser als sein Ruf. Die Kampagne Operation Spectre und Catalyst sind sehr gelungen nur leider etwas kurz. Die Level bieten viel Abwechslung und es Steuert sich hervorragend. Ich hatte in der Kampagne keine Abstürze und nur einmal oder zweimal Ruckler ansonsten keine Probleme festgestellt. Was ich sehr schade finde, daß man das Spiel zwar Kostenlos im XBOX GamePass bekommt, allerdings ist nur der ersten Teil der Kampagne Gratis, und den anderen Teil muss man Kaufen, ist zwar mit etwas weniger als 9€ nicht viel, aber ich verstehe den Sinn dahinter nicht. Was die Grafik angeht, ja es ist nicht das schönste Spiel, aber dennoch bekommen wir in den abwechslungsreichen Level, sehr schöne Details geboten, vor allem in Gebäuden sieht es dann doch sehr hübsch aus. Auch das Waffendesign kann überzeugen. Der Sound im Spiel ist Hervorragend, die Waffen klingen alle ehr gut und auch verschieden, nur ganz wenig Ausnahmen klingen irgendwie zu Dumpf, ähnlich wenn ein Schalldämpfer drauf wäre, auch wenn keiner drauf ist. Auch hatte ich ein Paar mal Ton Aussetzer, es war nie lange, aber störend fand ich es dennoch. Mit dem Multiplayer habe nicht viel Zeit verbracht, aber bei mir ist es bisher nicht abgestürzt und Ruckler hatte ich auch keine. Was mir gefällt man hat die Wahl, zwischen Modern und klassisch. Modern bekommen wir die typische Steuerung eines Call of Duty, während es sich im klassischen Modus wie damals Counter Strike steuern lässt. Der Multiplayer müsste nur etwas dynamischer sein, ich vermute mal das noch einiges verbessert wird, nach den eher schlechten Kritiken. Auf alle Fälle hatte mit den beiden Kampagnen meinen Spaß und hoffe, dass es weitergeht, auch fand ich die Story gut. Von mir bekommt die Kampagne beide zusammen 7/10

    Me parece decepcionante que el juego solo se lanzara como exclusiva de consola, ya que como juego de PC tendría mucho potencial.
    A estas alturas todo mundo debe saber que los 0 en metacritic son opiniones que carecen de objetividad y solo un tonto haría caso de ellas, así mismo dudar de los 10. El juego ofrece un modo campaña con una historia entretenida, sin pasar a ser    MODO CAMPAÑA:

    El juego ofrece un modo campaña con una historia entretenida, sin pasar a ser una historia verdaderamente buena, el gameplay y las misiones te mantendrán "picado" pues es un juego que resulta bastante satisfactorio, con una dificultad no tan exagerada.

    Destaco el doblaje latino, los actores de voz lograron sumergirme de lleno en la aventura.
    Respecto a los gráficos, no veo algo verdaderamente next gen de no ser por el modo que ofrece ray tracing pero para este tipo de juegos es primordial el modo a 60 fps. No encontré ningún tipo de craseho durante el juego salvo un par de ocasiones que el sonido de las armas se quedó colgado pero por unos cuantos segundos.
    He leído y que son causas de las bajas notas que la campaña no se podía jugar, pero al día de hoy pude jugarla sin problemas con el gamepass.

    Veredicto final, recomiendo el modo campaña, no la pasarán mal.
    Si lo suyo es el multiplayer yo no lo recomendaría, pero experiméntenlo por si mismos.    … Expand

    One game mode per map which are a few is unacceptable. Connection issues, high ping due to server incapability makes the game frustrating. Lame and generic campaign with uninteresting characters doesn't invoke the desire to come back. Pure disappointment

    O jogo é excelente pra quem é fã da franquia, a maioria que está criticando provavelmente nem jogou uma partida inteira, digo isso pois mais de 55% dos jogadores não liberaram a conquista de completar a primeira partida e mais de 40% dos jogadores não conseguiram a primeira kill dentro do multiplayer.

    This game shows how incompetent xbox studios are they always rush out ideas because they really want to satisfy Gamepass subscribers, I think it’s time Phil Spencer gives Devs’ time to think and rebrand their whole ideas … the game reveal was interesting Buh it’s sad the devs lied about it state this game campaign is meh needs a lot of work and the Multiplayer is awful 1/5 overall.

    If this game actually had decent controls I would've given it a mixed review cause these facial animations and dialogues are comedy gold. However, even the controls suck and there aren't enough customization options to fix that, so Crossfire X doesn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

В игре даже нету русских субтитров. Очень жаль, ведь я действительно ждал эту игру и верил в неё. Я даже предполагал, что она станет для меня лучшим эксклюзивом Xbox в этом году, но SmilegateRemedy сделали все от них зависящее. Только благодаря их компании игре можно уделить время. Хотя всё портит механика самой игры, которую уже делали Smilegate, которые очевидно пожадничали денег. В игре даже нету русских субтитров.     If you value your time, please don't waste it on this game. Lazy port, bug-feasted and a gamepass-worthy title. Better play counter-strike or any other similar game in the genre. If this is the future of a rental gaming services, I'm gonna look into another hobby.

    Another quality is expected from a developer like Remedy.

    The Multiplayer is plenty fun but plenty broken and stupid. The campaign itself was something quick and generic for a shooter and nothing emotional to tie down the characters. the campaign at least was a solid 5/10 but overall the whole game is a solid 4. Too much bug within the campaign and multiplayer.

    He de decir que no me ha encantado, pero es jugarle. Si quieres jugar algo al estilo CSGO. Es una excelente compra o bien, jugarlo en XBOX GAME PASS ULTÍMATE. Puedes probar el shooter no muy alejado de la mayoría. (El único disgusto es que no hay sistema de apuntado)

    I was looking forward to this game, and seeing that Remedy was developing the campaign got me even more excited. However, the campaign was a huge let down.     The multiplayer is shocking. Only 1 map for each of the (Only 2!) game modes, in the modern playlist, makes the multiplayer boring very fast. The complete lack of content cannot be ignored, and the number of bugs present too and how unbalanced the specialist suits are. This is completely unacceptable considering how long they spent on this game and the delays it had also. I feel let down by this game. However, I have hope that if they sort out the bugs and complete lack of content (maps, game modes etc) in the multiplayer, I do believe this game could have a comeback and be genuinely fun to play (like No Mans Sky). If they pull it off then great! But if not then Crossfire X won’t last long at all.    … Expand

    The visuals are mediocre and quite grainy at times. The art style is a CoD/CSGO copycat. It feels like a relic from 2011. The real problem is that the game just doesn't play well. Aiming is wonk and your character will struggle to complete basic actions like jumping through open windows or climbing atop boxes for a better vantage point. It's all so tired and clunky, needless, pointless, hopeless 2022 game.

    This is a lazy review compared to my normal output but CFX is a lazy game, so it fits. In actuality this is probably a 3 or 4 but I have to slam it with zero to make a point. Don't show fake trailers and don't attempt to shove MTX into a paid game at the volume seen in this game. Even on Gamepass we only receive one of the two campaigns for free. Then, the fact that it took a week to even receive the free campaign? It makes me feel as though this was an intentional move in order to sell the free campaign to the 25m Gamepass subscribers and I can't get down with that. CFX is a 3/10 but due to the lies and egregious practices it garners a 0/10. For the record, it took a week just to receive a Metacritic score on 6 reviews. Stop hiding your games and restricting access or review codes. CFX is an accumulation of everything that's wrong with the industry and Microsoft both promoted and published it. Shameful.    … Expand

On that note, I do find it quite ironic that even their attempts to remove mouse & keyboard support weren't without its flaws as you can actually use your mouse to control the cursor to navigate around the UI. On another note, there is zero optimization for this game, from the crashes to the broken audio and outdated visuals, it is just simply not worth your time unless, of course, you're curious to see just how bad of a game it really is.… Expand

    Has beautiful graphics. The gunplay can sometimes be solid in the campaign. It has some mindless fun that you can turn off your brain for. Also can give the western audience a chance to know why crossfire is popular in Asia.

    Thoughts-
    It feels like a game made in 2007 and put into the bottom of a sale bin at walmart. It doesn't feel special and it doesn't strive to be anything besides generic. I expected more from the campaign because of Remedy and with it being this bad it should be a stain on their record. The multiplayer is just so bad I cannot put into words why I dislike it so much. The only plus side is that it provides some B-movie action now and then but still is not worth the price at all. Even with it on gamepass do not get this game. Play Halo or hell even Battlefield 2042 instead of this if you are looking for a playable military shooter.    … Expand

    This is truly the best game ever. COD move over this is the new meta. Graphically awesome, gameplay wow, gunplay is unrivalled and without a shadow of a doubt a game that I’ll be playing for months if not years to come. A must own. Bugs, glitches, what! Not on my PS5!

The dual campaigns & the story had potential, they are just too poorly executed, everything else feels dated and generic.

    Here are some things I did like>
    *Killer remedy Lore! There are bits and pieces scattered across the generic shooting that tease you that a Remedy mind-blowing story is there... too bad it never arrives
    *Weapons feel generic, but some like CAR4 look & feel ok I guess
    *Fully customizable controls, which is rare in console gaming.
    *Select to show objetive, just like modern warfare.
    *The graphics feel outdated, but sometimes they nail the ambience right with volumetric smoke & lights, shadows, they got you to feel some places. Again some, most feel like generic. 
    *In game radio chatter & character narration is the best feature of this game, kept me engaged in what was going on. In fact, without the in game dialogue & radio chatter, I don't think I could have completed the game with the generic shooting galleries it presents.

    Things that killed the game>
    *Footsteps! when you walk slow you hear your footsteps as you were running, this stuff makes the game feel like it's releasing like 20 years ago.
    *No melee animation? Killing enemies with your knife feels so awkward, it's like playing the 1st version of counter strike, that was a throwback... in a bad way.
    *Hit confirmation markers! How can you not give me an option to disable that? Hit confirmations kill the immersion and the shooting atmosphere, it is like they want me to feel it's a shooting gallery.
    *cannot disable HUD elements! There are some like the ability to slow down time that are in the middle of the screen and ruins the experience.
    *A LOT of texture popping! Even enemies at a distance, you ADS with optics and enemies pop up when there were no one, textures pop up all the time too :/
    *Brain dead Enemy Ai. During my play of crossfire X I had to go into and play FEAR (2005) to make sure It wasn't nostalgia, and It wasn't. The Enemy AI in FEAR makes the enemies in crossfire feel like dumb bots with basic instructions. I can't believe a 2022 game has this brain-dead AI, It totally kills the experience. You have to play the game in veteran to get a real challenge but nothing changes really, it's not like they start flaking you or coordinating an attack. They just march into their deaths, but they are more dangerous now, 2 shoots can kill you, thats it.
    *Shooting feels plane, Must be that playing the latest COD installments I got used to such a fine shooting experience that crossfire X shooting feels plane and boring.

    And finally... I was so hyped with the reveal trailer, the story, the lore, the shooting, It all looked so damn good. After Quantum Break & Control, I was ready for another Remedy masterpiece. After completing the game and left with disappointment, went back to see both reveal & launch trailer and noticed they SCRAPPED a lot of content from the game to get it ready in time for release date. There is a shooting in a collapsing building that never happens in the game.... I don't know ... This is a mess, how can remedy got involved with this?    … Expand

Only half of the campaign is free on Xbox Game Pass. The other half costs $10. What's hilarious is that the paid campaign is even worse than the one that is free. Both campaigns are extremely short. The gunplay is pathetic. The audio in this game laughable. Gun sounds are a joke. The AI is incredibly stupid. The voice acting is so horrendous, I have a feeling that they asked the janitors to voice act for this game.

    The multiplayer section of this game is easily the worst first person shooter multiplayer game I have ever played in my life. This multiplayer is literally a new form of torture. The input lag and controls are insanely awful. The aiming is bad. Maps are terrible. When I die, my gun goes flying out of my hand like in Garry's Mod. I don't recommend this garbage at all, even if the multiplayer is free.    … Expand

Controller experience doesn’t feel optimized at all, or even close to working properly like with other shooters. Every move you make is easily detected in that game mode so you’re at an auto disadvantage if you’re a ghost. Snipers need a slight nerf. Campaigns plot is lackluster. Crap maps. Several bugs including not being able to aim while playing modern with certain weapons only. Point capture is bs since it allows you to get a perk with duel smgs and armor, which THEN causes the enemy team to back out of the game because it’s unfair and non appealing to the new console players you’re trying desperately to appeal to.
    The game needs a lot of work. Do yourself a favor and do not pay for any of the packs. Trust me, play a better game.    … Expand

    I expected feeling like batter CS combined with BF2BC SP but got poor quality Combat Arms "zombie".
    Very poor animations, strange, poor models in menu, poor quality of textures, ultra boring story, bad control. I can't say anything good about this game.

    CrossfireX multiplayer is a fun game, it just got released half unfinished which made me quite disappointed, But with some fixes and more content we asked for in the next several updates, I can see this game go pretty popular. And apart from the terrible launch date, this game has definitely potential to become a great shooter for both Classic and Modern players.

    I liked the campaign mode, both missions are cool, the graphics are not innovative, they are graphics from the previous generation.
    I didn't like the multiplayer mode, I found a lot of bugs in the crosshairs.
    The campaign mode is satisfying and the price is reasonable.

    The campaign is good so far and the multiplayer of this game could be more dynamic and enjoyable if they give this game update or patch to improve some mistakes and bugs in the on-line multiplayer . Final verdict 7/10.

    CrossfireX is a mess. If you manage to connect to a server and can deal with a menu that becomes sluggish after every game, you'll find an experience that is dulled by bad design decisions. From a pair of lackluster campaigns to a pittance of maps and modes, there's not much to work with. Combined with tiny maps and shooting mechanics that don't feel good, the shooter is only appealing if you only play free-to-play titles, only care for modern military shooters, don't care for Call of Duty: Warzone, and don't have the Xbox Game Pass.
