Mar 14, 2021This is a great port of last year’s wackiest game. The loading times are so much better than the original, which means when I mess up during my gem hunt, I can pause and restart the level and I’m back to the beginning in seconds. Great recommendation to platforming veterans like me

Feb 4, 2023I like hard games but this one in particular is extremely frustrating at times. Controls are a bit clunky and unresponsive. Overall decent experience for those who love the genre but i liked Nsane Trilogy more

Dec 31, 2022Crash is back baby. Classic crash platforming. No silly gimmicks. The best modern platformer you can get outside of nintendo hands down.

Mar 22, 2021If one has managed to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console, they can't go wrong with Crash Bandicoot 4, as it's a tremendous platforming game and one of the genre's best. Those that already own the last-gen version of the game will be happy to know that, unlike other Activision titles, the Crash Bandicoot 4 next-gen upgrade is free, so there's no reason not to try it out.
-
Mar 18, 2021The next-gen enhancements are nice for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on Xbox Series X|S, but they don’t change any of the larger issues to make this any better than the Xbox One version. 4K and 60fps are pleasant enough and it is a good thing this is a free upgrade for existing owners. Yet while many of the modern improvements make a much smoother game, it can’t quite reach the heights of Cortex Strikes Back or Warped available in the N. Sane Trilogy.

Mar 15, 2021Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is a great platform game in its own right, but what’s even more impressive is that it’s managed to capture the feel and spirit of its predecessors while adding new gameplay features that fit perfectly alongside the old. It’s both a great tribute to a storied franchise and a game that feels completely modern. Crash Bandicoot 4 will appeal to those with a sense of nostalgia for the bandicoot’s adventures past, as well as those new to the franchise who are looking for a challenging, enjoyable, and gameplay-packed platforming adventure.
