Oct 23, 2025Bounty Star’s combination of mech combat and farming is equal parts compelling and tranquil, and Clem’s story is riveting. Sometimes, you have to get back in the robot and hope there’s a life on the other side.

Oct 29, 2025Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem is one of those games that sounds incredible on paper but stumbles in execution. The story and atmosphere show flashes of something special, but the gameplay simply doesn’t hold up its end. The combat feels slow and awkward, the mission structure grows repetitive, and the homestead systems never evolve past the basics. Bounty Star wants to be a redemption story; both for its protagonist and for the mech genre’s quieter side. Unfortunately, much like Clem herself, it never quite outruns its flaws.

Oct 23, 2025Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem is a game full of good ideas and poor execution. I loved the setting and enjoyed the story thanks to some great voice acting and music. The gameplay loop was a letdown, though. Full of repetitive tasks and unsatisfying combat. This one is tough to recommend, even if it is Day One in Game Pass

Nov 3, 2025Bounty Star offered us an experience based on mecha combat and life management, an original idea, but unfortunately not quite polished enough. Its gameplay loop becomes far too repetitive and simplistic in terms of base building management. However, the battles with the raptor (when they are not buggy), its customisation, the touching story and Clémentine's redemption-based evolution are really enjoyable to follow throughout the chapters, despite a few bugs and a sometimes mixed experience.
