It has a random component (charisma, faith, intelligence,...) when choosing activities per day and week it can randomly give you one of these three possible metrics per activity, so that a week you must collect a number required to make friends, support the girls or unlock events, unlock characters. The girls are Becky, Lavinia, Mariette, Jessie, Lottie and Ermengarde you have to get their happy ending and their event for each character if you want to have the game 100%

    The bad
Very short. Although it is a graphic novel, it is not ideal for achievement hunters even with a guide. Due to the random component, it could frustrate more than one to advance in the game and see different events and endings. If you don't know what you're doing (by choosing activities for a specific attribute), even with the random component it will be very easy for you to always end up seeing the same events (Jessie's, Becky's or Mariette's, which are the ones with the least requirements and are “friendlier”)

    The Meh!:
These 1000G felt more “real” and not just paying to get 1000G in 1 minute of play that plays itself. The designs are fine. It's based on the classic novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, so check out the literary reference if you want to know more.

You get to fix your weekly routine by either selecting - reading a book, dance, tea party and so on. The game itself has multiply endings , six in total. The visual novel art in this game is fantastic. It has really beautiful art, with well-drawn backgrounds and character portraits that work together really well. The soundtrack is nice and calming, what you would expect in a visual novel game like this one.

I enjoyed playing this game, even tho I was trying to pronounce some French language which I am guessing I was horrible at.

If you are into visual novel games or the Sara Crewe novels, then I would suggest picking this game up!

    A splendid good time!

A Little Lily Princess is a visual novel that at least attempts to buck expectations by offering some semblance of gameplay to give us agency through the story. It’s very stuck in the genres tropes, and the language might be a bit too over the top ol’ English, but the tale overall is entertainingly written, with the added bonus of featuring several endings to encourage repeat plays.

On reaching the end multiple times, and seeing Sara yo-yo from wealth to pauperdom and back again, we can say - with some confidence - that A Little Lily Princess is a capable, well-put-together visual novel. It sits above the par, although not too far above, and anyone with a taste for period adaptations will forgive an annoying main character, some mawkish writing, and a very, very predictable plot.
