    YesterMorrow is a single player time travel based 2D plat-former, mixing action sequences with puzzle elements. You'll follow the engaging story of Yui, who travels back into the past to save her family and the remnants of a world now trapped in Never-ending Night. I would like to start with the graphics even though it looks like pixel-art indie game the graphics are pretty legit and smooth .I mean I'm a person who really cares about visuals and this game already won my love with it's visuals .YesterMorrow is a fantasy game that follows a young girl named Yui, on the day of the Celebration of Light festival in her isolated village. An army of shadow monsters descends upon the event and Yui is injured in the escape. Time shifts forward to a teen version of Yui, in a world that is overcome by the shadows.Yui discovers time portals that allow her to return to her childhood self, and she starts a quest to save the two timelines from destruction. YesterMorrow is best described as a precision plat-former with some puzzles and enemies thrown in for good measure. For the duration of the game, you’ll mostly be navigating dangerous obstacle courses and dodging enemies while using Yui’s abilities to progress. Yestermorrow feels like it has a ton of potential. While there are some decent temples and puzzles to be found it can be hard to recognize them with some various design choices and performance issues.
    But still it doesn't changes the fact that the game has a lot of potential to be enjoyable, and I'm sure they'll unleash the beast in near future by covering the little mistakes with a patch and make the game even better. That's one of the benefits of the digital gaming age, we aren't stuck with how the game is, it call always be advanced or expanded upon on the Xbox family of consoles.    … Expand

    While not the most difficult platformer out there like others, more than once I felt like quitting due to frustration of having to redo large sections over again due to inconsistent checkpoints. More than a handful of times it felt like a slog to get through the same sections all over again, or backtracking to get somewhere I needed now that I had a new power. The time travel mechanic is interesting but slightly overused, as you’ll come to expect having to explore each area in both timelines. Even with all the issues and frustration that I had, YesterMorrow was one that I’m glad to have played. It’s not perfect by any means, but you can tell it has a lot of heart and charm to it.

    All in all, YesterMorrow is a fine platformer with a decent story. The progression of the main character feels timely and challenges satisfying. Although the mapping system could use a redesign, I would recommend YesterMorrow to any 2D platforming fan.
