Wunderling has you take control of the Wunderling, a low-level video game goon who has just unlocked the power to jump. Unable to stop or change direction at will, you will need to plan ahead and master the Wunderlings’ abilities to navigate treacherous scrolling levels and chase down that pesky Hero. When you first begin Wunderling, you get the fairly basic setup for a platforming game.Wunderling has you take control of the Wunderling, a low-level video game goon who has just unlocked the power to jump. You’re a carrot who can run and jump, and you have three lives. After what feels somewhat like a tutorial stage. The carrot opens up a small portal with a staff stolen from a witch and remarks that he is coming to save Princess Pea. I want to add a quote from anohter reviewer here the guy made Pros and Cons and his only cons was " I am not entirely sure if my angry baby is a lemon or potato?" This actually explains a lot sometimes you expect games to be easy and fun enough. Wunderling is 2D platformer with full of enemies that only goes backwards and forward that let you enjoy your little time here like Mario but more simple overall in approach. A nice price of admission and a well done game make this one easy to recommend for your Xbox One library.

Wunderling is a charming, funny, and fun auto-running platformer that makes up for it’s simpler interactions with smartly designed levels, loads of hidden bits to find and gaming references around every corner. A few more checkpoints wouldn’t have gone amiss, but overall Wunderling manages to find that sweet spot between challenge and reward.

Wunderling on Xbox is a fun little puzzle platformer, and even if you’re not too blown away by its bite-sized casual platforming action, then the rest of the presentation will be something that genre fans will appreciate and enjoy.
