    Where the Water Tastes Like Wine was and remains a highly niche product,even more ghettoized in our country due to the absence of an Italian localization and a linguistic register not exactly accessible to everyone.

    There is a brilliant game to be hard here, one all about stories. It’s original, and I can guarantee you will have never played anything like this in your gaming life. But in turn that comes with some negatives and it’s certainly pointing to a niche market that isn’t helped by the slow, plodding gameplay.

    Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a simple game about traveling the USA while listening to and telling stories. Unfortunately, I can't wholly recommend it because of its long stretches of tedium in between only a few interesting parts.

The incredibly designed art, and rolling soundtrack help to delve you deeper into the story, and hold the mood of the world around you. Weave the tales that made history in the states so rich, From heroic tales like Johnny Appleseed and Casey Jones to darker tales like the Winged Goat. Where the Water Tastes Like Wine will enthrall you tale by tale, as they evolve over their own journies across the land. A rich detailed game full of wonderfully acted characters, and deep dialogues weave an intricate canvas.
