    Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a Paper Art Turn-Based Timing-Driven Adventure RPG. You play as Vi, a Bee, Kabbu a Beetle, and Leif, a Moth. You acquire Leif quite Early, and this remains your team throughout the game. The Ant Queen wants you to embark on a quest to find the Everlasting Sapling, a magical plant that can grant its' owner eternal life. You acquire Leif quite Early, and this remains your team throughout the game. The Ant Queen wants you to embark on a quest to find the Everlasting Sapling, a magical plant that can grant its' owner eternal life. And as short as a bugs lifespan is, I can see where that would be an enticing possession. The game is in every 2D sprite the spiritual successor to the original Paper Mario RPG games. From the charming and quirky dialogue to the over the top colors, Bug Fables succeeds to capture the heart and essence of those classic games. This beautiful art of 2D in a 3D world is also where I found my only complications, as you can have a hard time judging the distance of some jumps, and the game is loaded with platforming. You can change your lead character at any time with the press of a button, and each of the three characters has their own ability the can use to interact with the overworld. Vi can activate switches with a boomerang, and Lief can freeze water to make blocks and bridges. Combat is typical Turn-Based combat, with a timing minigame to enhance your attacks or block incoming attacks If you were a fan of the first two Paper Marios, you will be right at home. Bug Fables: The Everlasting sapling could have a strong following and possibly strong sequels.… Expand

    We Were Here Together is a game with very good ideas that will make you spend a fun time in the company of a friend if you like puzzle games.

    If you enjoy puzzles games and have a like-minded friend, then We Were Here Together should definitely be looked at. I figured that since I reviewed the previous game with a friend, I would try this one with a different one to see if I had the same result in communication breakdowns. Sad to say, the results were almost identical, even with a completely different friend this time around. When frustration sets in and things don’t make sense, I promise you, you’re going to end up blaming your co-op partner, regardless if it’s their fault or not. We Were Here Together will give a cooperative adventure unlike any other, but it will surely put your friendship to the test, one that I almost failed, again.

    We Were Here Together is a solid example of out of the box, co-op thinking. The puzzles can get a bit too clever for their own good at times, and if you’re not playing with a good friend I’d imagine the frustration will only amplify; but get a reliable buddy, grab you’re note book and there’s plenty of brain teasing fun to be had here.
