    Even being one of the only party games on the Xbox, it sure didn’t seem to try very hard. There seems to be so much more they could have done and added, but there really isn’t much to do or unlock. Not all of the mini-games are bad. I actually really enjoy roulette. Some of them are completed in under a minute, reducing even more what was already a minimal game. I thought it was almost decent, but lacking online support and giving little effort to expanding a basic concept, Vegas Party may not be one you’d want to attend.

    Much like how gambling works in real life, if you throw your money at this, the only winner here is the developer.

    There’s a decent variety of game’s for you to work through and whilst some of them are boring a few of them are fun and enjoyable when playedThere’s a decent variety of game’s for you to work through and whilst some of them are boring a few of them are fun and enjoyable when played in short bursts. The game can be fun when played with friends especially if there’s a few of you available to play the different game’s that are present. I found the presentation side of the game to lack in several areas and both the visuals and sound design haven’t been done very well at all. Each game gets boring and very repetetive quite quickly which means returning back to them is rather difficult. Technically I noticed that the game suffers with a few issues and these issues make the already dwindling fun factor dwindle even more. The game is very unforgiving and in the end it loses its appeal quite quickly because each game feels very unfair. When played on your own you start to notice the game’s many flaws even more so I would recommend playing with your friends only. I must admit that I was a little intrigued by Vegas Party because I love casino games and I liked the cartoony vibe it was giving off. Unfortunately after only playing it for a short amount of time it became quite clear that this game wasn’t as fun as I thought it was going to be and in the end it just disappointed me in a number of different ways. This is a game that should be fun and enjoyable and it does offer a bit of fun when played with friends, but this fun doesn’t last long at all. Instead you end up being very frustrated because each game feels unfair and when you combine that with the terrible visuals and sound design returning back to the game is not very high on the agenda at all. This isn’t helped either by each game getting repetetive very quickly and I’ll admit now that I didn’t want to go on even though I only played the game for 30 minutes. Unfortunately when I returned to the game it didn’t get any better and in the end the many flaws just sucked away any fun that I had experienced and if you want my advice then I would recommend that you steer clear of Vegas Party.… Full Review »
