With a clean and refreshing story, you follow along a path to locate Captain Owens throughout six sizable Chapters. Brimming with varying hidden object scenes, and a ton of minigames Uncharted Tides can provide hours of fairly relaxing gameplay. With a fun artistic styling and animations that just feel right, the games aesthetic is just as refreshing as the story. Some of the puzzles do feel simplistic, almost easy, others make up for this nicely. The hidden object screens felt distorted in an attempt to help obscure what you were looking for, and I feel that slightly detracted from their splendor. Without delving into the story, I can say it's riveting and will keep you rapt until the end. The Deluxe edition has a bonus chapter, with more to do, and more history on the main characters. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a fresh story, and fun puzzles, a mush for fans of puzzle adventures. Expand

Uncharted Tides: Port Royal on Xbox One is a real mixed bag on the whole. Focusing on the positives though and the visuals are lovely, switching characters every so often allows their skills to be used in a selection of enjoyable puzzles, and the mini-games are fairly varied. Unfortunately, there are a few mini-games that cause irritation and that’s not ideal for an otherwise relaxing game.
