    Trover Saves The Universe- When we see this kind of graphics, characters presentation in a game we always begin with the thought of "okay another kids game", well trust me this one is definitely not developed with kids in mind. You can barely hold yourself to not laugh for no reason while playing this one. You can barely hold yourself to not laugh for no reason while playing this one. The sense of humor is from somewhere else in Trover Saves The Universe as sometimes the game throwing question marks to your head you don't even get what they saying and don't make the NPC's wait cause they never stop talking. The gameplay is diffrent from many other games you controlling a character that controls Trover. Your moving Trover arround there's spots that trover can teleport you to himself so you can get better view of the play area . I suggest you to put your headset on and listen carefully about what they say because sometimes you might need the information the others offer to you. Don't do everything according to playbook on this one sometimes think
    out of the box for sure. A unique presentation, a unique play concept and an overall solid game make this one worth picking up nd adding to your Xbox One digital library.    … Expand

    Obviously this will appeal to fans of Justin Roiland humour, as it is all about that from start to finish. If you take that out, what you have is a slightly unique take on the platformer genre, which obviously does not use VR on xbox, but is still very playable. There's puzzles that are reasonably easy, and some basic action elements, but nothing that will blow you away.     Xbox really isn’t the place you should be playing Trover Saves the Universe, though it is preferable to dropping dough on an expensive VR setup. Even when played on a TV it’s still a solid puzzle-platforming experience, and none of the humor gets lost in translation. It’s a game every bit as funny and nonsensical as you’d expect from the mind behind Rick & Morty, which alone would be enough to give it a glowing recommendation.

    Coming from Roiland, Trover Saves the Universe was never going to be a straight laced affair. There are plenty of funny moments spliced into the gameplay that will have you laughing. That it ports so well with the VR element removed is commendable; controlling Trover in fights and puzzle situations is intuitive, if no doubt sightly more awkward without that extra element. The constant stuttering nature of the acting did start to grate by the end, though fans of his work will no doubt look over that detail. If you’re after a unique, bizarre adventure for an evening, Trover will most certainly have you covered.
