    Train Sim World has began, you are going to create your character, and this will be your character throughout the game. As you play through the game, you will earn points that will rank up your levels. Points can be earned for hitting stations on time, going at the correct speed on the track when it comes to speed-points, making sure you are not speeding through a yellow junction forTrain Sim World has began, you are going to create your character, and this will be your character throughout the game. You will earn points that will come naturally with progression. After creating your character, you will be then taken to the tutorial element of the game, where you canl get you hands on the first set of controls for the three trains you get to use throughout the game to include two passenger trains and a freight train. The controls of how to control the train are similar, the layouts do vary in the trains, so practice makes perfect. There are a few tutorials that focus on different areas such as accelerating, reversing, opening doors and other basic operational methods. You will have notifications on in the game as default that will help you along the way. After grasping the controls, It will be time to jump into either of the two modes that are within the game, along with different scenarios, and services. Scenarios will give you objectives, and is somewhat like challenge mode for those who play simulation games, where services is a straight drive mode where you will take control of a timetabled service. You have a range of services to take on, so it does offer quite a bit of longevity in terms of playing through the game. The scenarios run at real time and can average between 15 to 60 minutes each. I am surprised at how smoothly the game plays for a full on simulator. There are frame rate issues at a few points throughout the game, but it isn’t game breaking in any way. It isn’t a game that is going to wow you graphically, but I wasn’t expecting something full blown out in a simulation game. The concept is basic and for those not interested in trains well you may get bored quite quickly. You do have the option to be a passenger throughout the game but I felt that was a hair underwhelming. The controls are going to take some getting use-to, but the more you play the more you will feel at home. What Train Sim World does offer is different to what you typically see on consoles, and that I`m really enjoying my time with it so far, even the new DLC's they are making available continues to add new content to explore. Making the transition from PC to console has actually fared well and I feel Dovetail should be proud of the console version. A solid simulator, and a must buy for any fan of simulation or trains in general. Don't forget your DLC packs to complete the experience along the way. TSW deserves a thumbs up from me.… Expand

    Who would have thought that I love a train sim? I really love it, it actually is my favourite game at this moment. For me though, the sim doesn't go far enough in the detail, but that is perhaps due to the limits of console gaming.
    nevertheless, it's fun, but in a nerdy way.. It can get boring but I suggest all safety modes on and then you'll start to see the difficulty of the sim    Who would have thought that I love a train sim?     I'm now playing games with a difference, in this age of clones, I look for games that are different. This is certainly one of them. Give it a go but be patient.
    the graphics could be better, no enhancement as I call for Xbox X.
    Look forward to the updated train sim, particularly the upcoming Somerset west route and the Ruhr Seig Nord sim.
    Provided the content remains cheap, I will be a continued fan. Keep up the good work Dovetail.

    Train Sim World fills a niche for a specific audience, and while that won’t be for everyone, myself included, for the people that’s always wanted to drive a BR1442-6 Talent 2, there’s no better options out there on console currently. Some may find it incredibly boring, as I did in the beginning, but there’s a lot to do and accomplish here if you can learn the intricacies of being a train engineer in this realistic depiction.
