    If Tour de France 2020 looked like a small category 2 pass in the history of the license with its small novelties, Tour de France 2021 would be a false flat descending. The new title from Cyanide is really stingy in novelties, does not change its interface or the graphic aspect of the title of a gut. It even removes the online multiplayer mode and the challenge mode to further impoverish the content, despite the many support races available to the Tour (Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Nice, Flandrian classics ...). We will simply retain a slightly clearer MyTour mode and very coherent AI opponents compared to reality. For the rest, Tour de France 2021 is still as accessible for any cycling fan and fun in split screen, but not really worth it compared to last season.

    Should you be coming to Tour de France 2021 looking for a proper bike racer which will let you replicate the real-world grand tour, this isn't the game for you. And unfortunately unless those behind it take a season out to prepare themselves for future years, it’s hard to see how this franchise can ever begin to appeal going forward.

The video game has a successful franchise history and third most followed sporting competition worldwide makes it a game many are eager for. Faithfully recreating the route that begins in Brittany this year, Tour de France 2021 thrusts players straight into the thick of the peloton as a rider in one of the top Tour de France teams. You’ll need to adapt your strategy to meet your objectives and join the early breakaway to win the green jersey. You’ll excel in the mountain stages by becoming the best climber and manage to save your energy for the final sprint on the last day to take the iconic yellow jersey home. Multiple improvements and features are added to Tour de France 2021. A redesigned of My Tour mode with more customization options and 89 stages to compete in. A new recovery mechanic for added realism and a more realistic peloton behavior also a new objective system is in tow, to cap the top changes all compliment the equipment from a wide range of official brands as we all come to expect from the series. Even if you’re not a fan of the franchise or cycling, fans of the racing genre should definitely check it out. Fans of the car racing mechanics will be at home more so than one may expect with the genres being very different yet I’ve always been fond of the mechanics even though my core favorite was the motor racing games but easily found the Tour De France easy to fall for with the beautiful racing mechanics that are made available despite my knowledge of professional biking falling short of my real world motor racing knowledge. In short there’s much for fans and newcomers alike to enjoy and the competitive price of admission make it a sure win for many to enjoy.
