The controls are simple, and the courses beautiful, surrounding you with the splendor of the French countryside. The challenge of the game is balancing your energy! It's easy to find yourself "Blown up" or exhausted if you overextend yourself. You must decide when to push forward, or follow behind another cyclist to catch your breath. You can also utilize the other cyclists to guard from the wind, using them and their draft as a shield. The first race is about an hour long, if you follow thru with it, but there are places you can 'fast forward' so you can play the crucial parts of the races. Stunning visuals, and fairly simple game play allows you to relax and enjoy the countryside, between pushing for first place, and consreving your energy. Fans of the Tour De France challenge will Love this game, because it feels right, and true to the struggle of one of the one of the hardest sporting events to be a participant in. Get your water bottles ready, because this is definitely the best of the series yet.… Expand

    Tour de France 2019 could well have done with a bit more development time, instead of being pushed out in the current state just in order to meet the demands of the first stage of the 2019 Tour.

    Tour de France 2019 adds some new features but the whole game doesn’t feel fresh at all. There’re not enought novelty to please the fans, who will regret the absence of some official brands.
