    Timberman VS on the Xbox One is a game that requires very little skill to jump in with, so makes a great party game for an evening or two with friends. When playing in single player, it’s best enjoyed in short bursts like most casual games. But also like most casual games, it has that "one more go” feel to it, and a short burst can quickly become a longer session.

    Timberman is a 16 bit Two Button Skill Game. You can unlock and play up to 56 different characters, every one an Easter egg of which you startTimberman is a 16 bit Two Button Skill Game. You can unlock and play up to 56 different characters, every one an Easter egg of which you start with a handfull and unlock more as you play single player. You play across six backgrounds, each of which is also an homage. You play by using either left and right in your joypad or X and B to move side to aid echopoing the tree with each move, all while avoiding branches, hittingbine ends your run. In Single player you simply gain experience each time you play, leveling you up and unlocking Playables. Multi-player is a race to survive and get the highest score. And there is Hero mode, where you try to cut enough of the tree down to save the birds before the tree Burns. The muaic is the same all the time, every background, every character, so you might want to bring your own. The Character designs were great, and many if them made me laugh when I would realize who it was. Timberman Vs. makes a great party game, and for it's price might want to find its place in that collection.… Full Review »
