    I found most of the investigations to be really interesting and getting to the end of them was a very rewarding and enjoyable experience. The presentation side of the game did a good job of creating an immersive experience and both the visuals and sound design combined together well. Each aspect of the management mechanics has been done well and the management elements are both fun and challenging at the same time. There’s plenty of variety present in all the tasks you have to do and this variety makes the tasks have a certain amount of a realistic feel to them. The difficulty curve can be a problem at times because it’s quite difficult right from the start. I enjoyed some of the cutscenes I found some of them to go on for too long. There’s so many tasks you have to do that it does take a while to get used to them. I really enjoyed This is the Police and without a doubt I was definitely looking forward to the sequel. Thankfully I’m pleased to say that This is the Police 2 has taken what was good about the first game and improved even further in some ways. In fact this game feels bigger and bolder than the first game and once again I found myself being hooked by the game’s interesting and gritty narrative. This then meant that the management elements in the game felt much more important this time around and they also felt more realistic as well. You will however take a while to get used to them because there’s that many tasks to do that it can be a little overbearing at times and it can make the difficulty curve shoot up as well. Once you get used to them though you do end up having a very rewarding experience and each investigation will no doubt satisfy you quite a lot and if you were a fan of the first game then you’ll be very pleased with what This is the Police 2 delivers to you.… Expand

    Awesome story and gameplay design, a really unique experience and I really hope they create a 3rd installment of this series.

    This is the Police 2 is an impeccably grim view of the modern police force. It deconstructs and subverts police genre stories with a protagonist that offers no remorse and warrants no redemption. It does this while providing an intriguing and vibrant cast of characters and a rewarding gameplay loop. It isn't perfect, but it certainly should not be missed.

    This is the Police 2 improves on the first game formula adding a welcome new tactical mode and adding more variety to our tasks, delivering again a good narrative experience. It still falls in some of the original game problems, like an excessive repetitiveness and a somewhat messy difficulty. If you liked the original game, though, this is a suggested buy.
