    Secret Order 7: Shadow Breach - We dive into the Secret Order series again in this installment. As we take control of the skilled and ever diligent agent Sarah in this Hidden Object Puzzle game our aim is stop the powerful Odessa. Gameplay wise this installment brings nothing new to the genre as is very much what we have come to expect and enjoy from these style of games, I mean if it'sSecret Order 7: Shadow Breach - We dive into the Secret Order series again in this installment. As we take control of the skilled and ever diligent agent Sarah in this Hidden Object Puzzle game our aim is stop the powerful Odessa. Gameplay wise this installment brings nothing new to the genre as is very much what we have come to expect and enjoy from these style of games, I mean if it's not broken, why fix it? Navigate the scenes, find objects and solve the puzzles and minigames, simple right? Wrong, the puzzles will make you engage the old grey matter to solve, they may not be incredably hard but enough to make you work, and with a hardcore mode also available there is enough here to please. Sometimes games of this type can suffer cringy storytelling, however I found Secret Order 7: Shadow Breach to not suffer this problem and found the storyline quite enjoyable. With controls that are standard for these games, hidden object vets will feel right at home and newcomers will be able to pick up and play and not need to worry about remember a bunch of different buttons. Visually, again, as we've come to expect from this genre, the scenes are well designed and the tone matches the style of storytelling. With the colours used complimenting each other and the game it really draws your eyes in. I found the sounds, both vocal acting and music impressive and not as tedious or annoying as some games so that was a bonus. Overall, while not offering much new in the way of innovation and mechanics (As I said, if not broke, don't fix it) what this game does offer is good storytelling, enjoyable gameplay and replay value. There is many options to pick from out there in this genre, but this one won me over (as a non fan of these style of games) and is a must for hidden object fans and one to check out for newcommers to the genre.… Expand

    The Secret Order: Shadow Breach is an intriguing instalment of Sarah Pennington’s ongoing adventures that’s certainly worthy of your time. The combination of science and magic ensures an interesting premise is in place alongside a lovely selection of hand-drawn environments to peruse. Granted, the voiceovers aren’t great and the cursor accuracy is a problem, but that’s counter-acted by the puzzles. You see, the solutions are clever, the mini-games offer so much variety and the hidden object scenes are really well designed.
