    The Secret Order: Return to the Buried Kingdom on Xbox One acts like a strong trailer for hidden object gaming: it’s easy to pick up, the puzzles are a pleasure to interact with, and Artifex Mundi have mastered the systems that surround it. But it’s only a trailer: too short, too unsatisfying and narratively incoherent to get your teeth into.

The Mother Dragon who has long protected the Buried Kingdom has recently passed away, leaving the kingdom in a state of total chaos. Help Sarah as she returns to the Buried Kingdom to protect it from a powerful evil force that is threatening to take over this sacred land! Guilty myself of enjoying the Artifex Mundi gameplay we all come to know and love from the hidden objects genre, The Secret Order: Return to the Buried Kingdom’s is not an unwelcome entry to the series. The main adventure should last you around five hours and the one-hour bonus chapter should be equally satisfying to fans. Complete your quest to save the Mother Dragon’s egg and revive the Buried Kingdom. Play the challenging Hidden-Object Puzzles and mini-games to victory by gather all the magical morphing objects and collectible puzzle pieces to earn your achievements and pile up the gamer score, fans of Artifex Mundi games for Xbox One should have no problem feeling at home here and enjoy their time in typical fashion.… Full Review »
